Is there any undo option? I ask as there are times I inadvertantly skip shooting with a ship or inadvertantly click the wrong button.... but then here is no recourse to fix it.

Heh, there is not, and we all do it I'm sure.
Tbf, I inadvertantly skip many more things in real life games
Bug: veteran turret gunner proc doesn't allow the option to fire with the turret, instead attempts and fails to use primary(ion turret in front arc on lok revenant).

If I drop a Rigged Cargo Chute Debris cloud on a ship, it is not immediately suffering the effects. This may be a byproduct of a previous ruling, but the ruling currently is that they get stress and roll for damage.
This isn’t really a bug report, because I think it was by design. However, FFG ruled yesterday that Foresight and Snapshot can be used in your Engagement Phase. I’d call it a rule clarification rather than a bug.
It's very hard to test lists when you are constantly getting AI hits +21% me evades -16% every game.
A game of Chess anyone?

Stop whining, please.
Fly better.

So, animation generates the result. When code starts to roll dice - it doesn't know what dice results will be shown in the end of animation. (This is the reason why all conspiracy theories about dice results are so hilarious from my perspective)
If I get bored I'll make the Fly Casual Dice Roller App and just roll the dice over and over and over again.

You do understand how skewed statistics work right? Now matter how good you are, with a 40% swing, you will never come out on top. And every game is like it, yeah...
But nice try.
@Archangelspiv
in case you missed it on the last page, this is the standard reply I intend to use w.r.t. comments about AI's dice:
QuoteIn the past year I've contributed fixes for over 130 bugs in FlyCasual (you can verify this by looking at https://github.com/Sandrem/FlyCasual/pulls/bitsai , my handle there is the same as my handle here). I don't claim to know the code nearly as well as @Sandrem , but those bug fixes have taken me all over the code base. @Sandrem has explained before in this thread that the exact same dice rolling code is used for both human and AI players, and I have seen zero evidence to the contrary.
The entire code base is publically viewable here: https://github.com/Sandrem/FlyCasual . Anyone who wishes to can peruse the code and look for special dice rolling code that is only used for human or AI players (or anything else, in general, that might confer dice rolling advantage to the AI). This is a good starting point: https://github.com/Sandrem/FlyCasual/blob/development/Assets/Scripts/Model/Board/Dice/DiceRoll.cs
Another suggestion: show screenshots of the dice stats from your games, just enough to show, say, 1000+ combined rolls. I just played a 3-ships vs. 3-ships game that quickly reached 200+ combined rolls, so ~5 short-ish games should do the trick. A few more games might be needed to reach 1000+ combined rolls if you just take the stats from the first couple rounds of engagement (since there are multiple claims that the anomalies are most pronounced early on). IMHO this would be much more useful/actionable than anecdotes.
Honestly, I don't mind bad dice too much here. The AI is generally easily defeated by a good list. If the dice are unfriendly, it's a better test.
If I can't beat the AI with poor to middling dice, I know there is a problem with my list, or my play. Being able to mitigate poor dice and still trade favourably is the backbone of all good things.
Regardless of dice opinions, I advise treating Fly Casual less like a game and more like a test bed for ideas. If it's not a fair test, then it's a simply a stronger test.
The problem with the dice statistics is that people rarely look at them when the die rolls are going their way, but you better believe they look at them when they aren't.
I've had games where they didn't go my way, and yes, it's frustrating. I've also had games where I managed to evade almost every single hit sent my way. Those games aren't frustrating, but they also don't reflect any particularly good skill on my part.
Confirmation bias is, unfortunately, a tough thing to overcome for anyone. I started taking an effort to pay attention to the stats screen when things didn't seem to be going so bad. It turns out, in those circumstances the dice weren't necessarily fair either. It's just that the "bias" in those cases were in my favor rather than the AI's.
Dice certainly can be perfectly fair, and yet still end up rolling against you a majority of the time in a game. Similarly, flipping a coin twice doesn't guarantee you'll get heads as one of the results. In fact, there's no guarantee you'll ever get heads with perfectly fair coin flips. It's still a random chance. Sometimes that randomness works in your favor, and sometimes it doesn't.
One last note - I'm a software engineer with over 20 years of experience. I looked at the code for how the dice roll, and asked Sandrem some questions about it for clarifications. It's definitely random and without any particular bias (well, as random as any pure software solution can be - but that's really getting into the weeds of how random number generators work underneath the hood, and isn't going to result in any benefit to the AI in this case, anyway).
I think I encountered a bug. Twice, I had a ship hit an asteroid, but most of the ship was off. So, it rolled for damage (nothing surprising there). However, on the next turn, when I executed a maneuver, neither the template nor the ship's final position overlapped an obstacle, yet it rolled for damage again. I looks like it counted my starting position as overlapping while executing a maneuver.
I don't know if it has been mentioned before, but if you use Ensnare on a Nantex that has already been tractored, it will give you the option to tractor move the ship again.
Bug report, flew Captain Jostero. Accidentally used his bonus attack twice and it quite rightly said I couldn’t, but it stuck on the original firing ship and wouldn’t end its attack. I.e. dice all rolled, damage applied, but stuck on the dynamic attack view and wouldn’t select another ship. It was Torani Kulda’s ability which produced the bonus damage.
Edited by EstarriolI broke something.
Sorry if it's too low res.
Extreme edge case. Cikatro and multiple swaps, same process crashed the two times I tried it. Android version. -edit- Also 3rd try on Windows.
Khiraxz with cloak and DMS, Quad with DMS. G1-A with Cik and DMS.
Turn 1. Cloak Kihraxz, swap device with Quads DMS- fine.
Turn 1. Cloak Quad, swap spent device with the Gands DMS- CRASH.
I did note it seemed to have some trouble with replicating the Illicits. It appears to place 2 onto one ship, before removing one to complete the swap. Perhaps the multitude blew it's mind.
Edited by Cuz05So, will Huge ships (and by extension other Epic mechanics like Wings) be coming to Fly Casual?

Also curious. Not demanding, just wondering if it is anywhere in plans.
I'll be playing them on the table for sure regardless.
I have the Epic expansion and a Tantive IV preordered. Don't know if I'll be able to fly it locally very often, but Epic does sound interesting. Especially since it's bringing back scenarios.
Moving cloaking device from one ship to another, using it and moving it again makes fly casually throw up the command console and show a bunch of errors.
Couldn't find a way to highlight and copypasta from console, so here's screencaps:
Bug around Treacherous. Dialog asked if I wanted to use Treacherous, I indicated I did. When given choice of ships the only 1 I could apply it to was my own and I decided not to. Skip button was present, so I hit that expecting game to continue to roll defense dice. Instead it froze up and threw an error.
Also freezes up if your VCX-100 Light Freighter gets destroyed while it has a docked Sheathipede.
When using Rey's Millenium Falcon Title you can't do a sloop when stressed.
