Friday 24th: Armada – Registration opens at 08:00 and closes at 09:00

Saturday 25th: Armada Cut – Registration opens at 12:00 and closes at 12:30

How long it will last depends on the number of players, but it will likely be 5, maybe 4 rounds, with a top 2 cut.

Last year's was 5 rounds, with the 5th round finished by 10pm. 4th round was finished by about 7pm.

Ahsoka is a must-take for Garm! Tokens for Liberty to activate 2 squads even without a command dial is nice. Tallon for Corran or Dash primarily I presume?

According to Facebook UK Nationals have sold 52 tickets (out if 80) so there are plenty left on the door if anyone still isn't decided.

At the moment Armada is beating A Game of Thrones and crushing Imperial Assault, Runewars and Legion, but behind L5R. X-Wing has more tickets sold for Friday alone than Armada... Still, at the moment that means everyone gets a Jerjerrod.

York will be having another Armada Tournament at Travelling Man on the 20th of October. Link will be coming soon.

I'm not sure of the kit but I think it may be the season 3 one If we get season 3 in time, we're going to combine season 3 and season 2 into one prize pool since we haven't run season 2 yet. Double prizes! . Either way I'm hoping to trial a few spot prizes throughout the day too, a chance to win a few more prizes!

We had a great time at the Element Games seasonal kit event in Stockport today. 12 players lots of fun.

While there the event organiser @justin read told us all that Element Games has secured an Armada Regional for this upcoming season.

Date is set for 26/01/2019.

Three rounds, unless there is a large number of people ( I think he said over 32) when there would be 4 rounds and a single final 2 cut, all on the same day.

Tickets will be on sale in a week or two.

As 2018 draws to a close I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to our living list of (nearly) all UK Armada events. I have tried to compile them all but no doubt some will have slipped through our targeting arrays.

To stop things getting too long we will let this thread drift off the bottom of the page and fade into obscurity.... Ahhhh.... But fear not! There is another (Skywalker) in the shape of our 2019 Compendium of UK Armada Events thread. Praise the Force. There will be much rejoicing and singing of "Yub Yub".
