After the first peaceful resolution attempt, I don’t believe Muu thinks he could reason with the Sith using negotiation. Because he just rip the connectors, what would be the coercion difficultly of threatening to crush the reactor or more if he doesn’t release Gaze back onto the platform? @Rabobankrider
Probably daunting I'd say, actually crushing the ship reactor would be a pretty huge feat, and this guy doesn't think too highly of jedi :p

So is Gaze able to take actions while being held? Or is he effectively out of the scene for now?
Gaze can still do actions like normal, he just can't move etc.
@Vergence 2 advantage you could perhaps get him to agree to something minor (possibly), or maybe something simple like a blue dice on your next social check?

May I spend the advantages to create a social encounter where we begin negotiating? The realization that any theoretical engineering damage will cause him more time than he has?

@Vergence , with the negotiation check (vs your cool for this one), you would feel this may be the best deal you will get, but with the threat and despair you can request some concessions (within reason, eg. he's unlikely to give up the ship, but may be able to do something else like give you further info etc).

I guess I'll just provide an assist action to Muu, as ripping up more of the ship would be counter-productive to negotiations where NOT ripping up the ship is a point of contention. Since Gaze has no ranks in any of the social skills but Leadership, which isn't really applicable here, I guess it's just a boost die on his next action.
Ok cool, when @Vergence makes his post, @KungFuFerret if you want to make a post to support him that can add as a boost (talking doesn't matter regarding order so much as it's not combat).

Do we get a free action then initiative Starts? If so Zoroku will commit a die to sense as his action giving him boosted defense then engage.

I’ll wait to see if @KungFuFerret generates a success with the boost dice. The only reason I attempted a social check is to have him back on the platform.
Why cool again? I thought that was against charm. The idea was to have him attempting a social check against me with the advantages. To put the scene in my ball park so to speak, with the possibly of him rolling a despair ?
