@Rabobankrider became a little busy today but I'll put a post tomorrow so you can judge if it sounds good enough for an upgrade of the pool.
Star Wars: Revan's War OOC
I'm going to be away for the weekend so I'll try and get some posts sorted for Monday when I get back.
:
2eA+1eP
0 successes, 4 advantage
I'd also like to try and Coerce them or assist @Shlambate
@Tramp Graphics @SHADOWGUARD CHAMPION Do you two want to make a post in the IC before I do since you both rolled checks before me technically that would mean you all acted before as well.
I'll put Zoroku's Attempt here so @Rabobankrider can Judge if the pool becomes easier because of it.
Zoroku clears his throat moves himself past the crowd of Padawans all attempting to interrogate the prisoners and addresses the Sith troops in Sy Bisti, " I ask again, has the Emperor of the Sith Empire started this conflict, as an Agent of the Chiss Ascendancy here in the Republic and one of the Aristocra's spies, I need to know if I am to lead these Jedi into a trap or to maintain my cover until war is declared by the Emperor. Seeing as this ambush was not called in by her excellency I have the express belief that this attack is a rogue action." Zoroku hoped his bluff would work, it had been years and he wasn't sure if the old Aristocra was still in power, but then again these were Sith troops not Diplomats their knowledge on his people's government would be significantly less than his.
Ok, @satkaz you have an option here. Due to the size of the battle you're about to take part in you can choose to either go in with a small group against some key components, or you can oversee the larger picture using the mass combat rules.
@Shlambate you can add a boost to your check.
@SHADOWGUARD CHAMPION if you want to make a post I'll have your advantage get some additional information.
Interdictor Combat:
- @Vergence
- Dark Jedi: 3 soak, 7/14 wounds, adversary 1
- @KungFuFerret
- Sith Trooper Squad: 5 soak, 10/10 wounds, 2/2 men
Ok so now things are back on track for the Interdictor combat @Vergence it's back to your turn.

@Rabobankrider
Slight correction to my Suppress post, as I mistyped what it does. It applies 1 auto-fail to any force checks, not reduce pips. So my bad on description there.
Given the range of it, Gaze is going to stay in combat with the Dark Jedi himself, and ignore the troopers for now. He's got Parry instead of reflect anyway.
Lightsaber (Int)
:
1eD+1eC+1eP+3eA
2 failures, 3 advantage
However I forgot to actually Aim, and since I have a free manuever, plus my normal, might as well do both.
Aim dice
:
2eB
2 successes
Well, it canceled out the Fails at least, so just some Advantage. Will toss one to Muu as a boost, and inflict a setback on the Dark Jedi with the other 2.

Sith Rival Lightsaber + Aim
:
3eA+1eP+1eC+1eD+1eB
3 successes, 4 advantage
Seems we were doing our checks at the same time @KungFuFerret . @Rabobankrider The lightsaber has breach ignoring soak so the Rival should be down now. Spending the advantages as 2x setback against the troopers being shock by the event.
I forgot about breach, changed it now. I'll have the dark jedi make his move later and then @Vergence can finish him off.

Sure 2x melee defense on Muu plus, my last check tosses another setback (extra advantage) for a total of 3x setback and whatever suppress did from @KungFuFerret if lightsaber combat against Muu.
Well if we're using rigid turn roster, then ignore what I did. I'll just delete it.
You guys can go in whatever order you choose.
Hmm, thinking about whether or not to lead. On the one hand, my craft's damaged. One more shot will end me. On the other hand, I don't have much in the way of leadership, and it could be a mess with a superior force AND a decent enemy commander.
But we might as well try the mass combat rules, so I'll go for overseeing it.

Yeah, sorry. I was having slow connection in the store with my phone using Orokos.com in line and didn't notice Gaze went at first. Wasn't trying to be rigid roster, just got confused with timing. We can go with Gaze first since you were faster posting or Muu strike first. I'm open either direction at this point @KungFuFerret
On 5/4/2018 at 10:03 AM, Rabobankrider said:You're welcome to try a deception, but it's worth noting ooc that most of the troops Revan brought back were Republic military who followed him, so it's a gamble either way. It'd be a hard deception with 2 boost and a setback if you want to try. If you want to make your post first I'll let you know if any other dice need adding in,
So three boost?
Yeah, being a species from their empire pays off.
Alright upgrade with Destiny and roll
Deception
:
2eP+1eA+3eB+3eD+1eS
4 failures, 6 advantage
4 fails 6 advantage, they don't tell Zoroku what he wants but I'm spending all 6 on having one chatty stormtrooper give up something important about their plans here today.
Edited by ShlambateThese are some tight lipped mofos.

Just noticed the IC was edited. I'll make the post as if Muu was striking first this round.
@SHADOWGUARD CHAMPION , when you've got your post up from the coercion check you can make your move to the command centre assuming that's what you want to do. Also guys it's worth remembering the longer you spend in the hanger, the greater the damage that will occur elsewhere.
@satkaz the size of your force is classed as significant (2 green) as you'll have around a wing of starfighters. You get to upgrade the dice by the number of ranks you have in leadership for the rolls you make. The enemy is imposing (1 cruiser thanks to most of their fighters being focused at the station) with 1 rank in leadership which will mean the difficulty for the checks will be 2 purple and 1 red. You do however get 2 boosts due to the surprise of the tactic (I wasn't expecting this :p) as well as the fact these guys are fighting to defend civilians as well as win. The fighting will be done through a number of different stages which will depend on your strategy for taking the ship on.
@KungFuFerret as the sith is out it goes straight to your turn.

2 questions:
1. Are the troopers still at Short range to us currently?
2. The Move upgrade that lets you yoink objects out of people's grasps, and/or tear fixtures off walls, is that just a default aspect of the basic Move once you buy it? Or do I have to spend a second pip to activate that aspect? The wording isn't entirely clear as far as I can tell, but it reads (to me at least), as if it's just something you can do now, no further pip required.
Alright, rolling.
Leadership [Attack the Interdictor]
:
1eP+1eA+2eB+1eC+2eD
2 successes, 1 advantage
Alright. As for the advantage, guess the flights notice the shield generator?
Edited by satkaz
Depends on the table but since the description on the control upgrade doesn’t request a pip (just a expansion of the base power) most do an opposed discipline check. @Rabobankrider will have to confirm though.
@KungFuFerret they are at short range, and from m reading it shouldn't need an extra pip to activate that control. As they're only minions it won't require a discipline check this time.
@satkaz , that seems fine to me. I'll post the pilots actions for you so you can make a decision on the next course of action. I'll tell you what boost and setback you get depending on your decision.
Alright let's get our group moving, I think it's five of us, Zoroku, Oola, K1, Kattadik and Tiberius. Do we want to split or go all together to the drydock?
