I'll go with 20, it's been a lot of roleplay for the campaign so far and honestly I wasn't sure how well/boring it would come out, so kudos for sticking around!

Now I'm 5 xp away from a dedication.
Took a rank in Lightsaber and took the Skilled Jockey talent. Spent the rest on a rank in Astrogation.
Also guys, I am considering introducing language as a game function. It'd essentially be 1 language you can speak/understand per intelligence point. I figured as you'll be all over the place the occasional language barrier may make for some interesting moments. 1 would have to be a language from your home world. Anyone got a problem with this plan?

I love it, Zoroku is probably the only one who knows Sy Bisti. So he gets one language per Int so Basic Sy Bisti and Hutt I guess. Would you learn more per int increase?

I’m open to the idea of limited languages but I imagine Muu knowing more than two languages. Unless his master was the translator, it doesn’t quite fit with his background.
I'm fine with that. Most people not understanding Chewbacca was a common trope in the OT, and not speaking binary with droids, etc. The whole reason a protocol droid with over 6 million forms of communication would be necessary.
@Shlambate, yeah you can learn more as you go along. @Vergence, it may well have been that your master was translating, or there could have been droids or locals present who could speak basic so that shouldn't effect the background too much :-)

I’m cool with that. We would still know how to communicate with the party’s languages, yes?
I'm going to pick up one of the Range upgrades for Move, which then leads to a Control upgrade (that lets you attack with a Discipline check by throwing objects), and then to the next Control upgrade, that allows him to yank things out of fixtures, and people's grips. Cost chain is 5 -> 10 -> 5, so all 20 spent.
Yeah, party languages will be a given just for ease of play.

So then what does everyone have?

I think that's up to you as the player, based on the number of points you have in INT
I mean as shared party language? Just Basic or do we all know Wookiee because of Katadik?
I assumed that you would choose basic as one of your spoken languages, you all get Wookie for free though.
Ok cool so Zoroku knows four languages then.
Gaze is going to have Basic, Ithorian (because of his Master), ....uhhh....Jawa (because why not), and....uh....Twi'lek I guess. *shrugs*

You never know we could get stranded on Tatooine.

I always figured the Jawa's were scavengers everywhere, not just Tatooine
Languages are basic, Mando’a and Jawa. So now me and Gaze can Utinni! To each other and the rest of you will have no idea what we’re saying.
Also bought two(2) tanks in inventor
Edited by SHADOWGUARD CHAMPION@Rabobankrider I take it if you didn’t describe the details in the vision there isn’t a check like a investigator recreating a scene to know IC?
I'd say that there wouldn't be many details to see. The corridor would be glass except for the metal framework, and it would just look out onto space all around. There would however be a door at the end that would look like an airlock.
Yeah I didn't think there would be much to go on OOCly, but it would be how Gaze would think about it.
However is it possible to try and do a scan of the station layout for glass corridors looking out into space near airlocks? That's enough variables to try and maybe narrow it down. For example it wouldn't be an internal location, as it wouldn't have an exterior view, etc etc.
Hmm, for Walden...a free Wookie, Basic, Basic, and uh, Basic. ![]()
But seriously: Basic, Binary, and Huttese, I guess.
Yeah, I didn’t know if vigilance could work as remembering vision details or only at the physical scenes. Since the shipyard station surrounds the planet, I figured there was tons of glass corridors.
I’ll probably just have Muu roleplay it as a message rather than a scene to investigate. Dume is on the horizon! I mean doom, DOOM!
