Star Wars: Revan's War OOC

By Rabobankrider, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny Beginner Game

@Rabobankrider

Thank you for the update.

I have some questions ...

Are the living security officers which you described in the corridor or inside the actual impound hangars?

If they're in the corridor, then are they stationed at intervals (and how far away from each other) or just passing through now and then (either going places, or just patrolling)?

Am I correct in thinking that there are 4 droids in total in that section of corridor (two in front of each door)?

@Rabobankrider is there conversation to be overheard?

Sorry for my delay, been rlly busy wif school.

can zalen make a perception check or smth to find a place he can hide and use his sniper rifle to look around?

@Bellona, they are in the corridor, without going to the doors you currently cannot see into hangers. They seem to be patrolling the corridor, but come and go from other parts of the airport on a semi-regular basis. The only ones currently positioned at a constant basis are the pairs of droids near the hanger doors. Currently there are only 4 droids, 2 on either side of the corridor.

@Shlambate, please do me an average perception with a setback.

@Von3679, being a corridor there are unfortunately limited places to hide without drawing attention. If you want it may be easier in the main terminal of the spaceport if you want. As you guys have got disguises an average stealth and average perception with 2 setback (a lot of people to see through) you may spot something of interest, or at least be able to provide cover if anyone comes looking for you.

Perception: 1eP+2eA+2eD+1eS 3 successes, 2 threat

Got tests this wk so replies will be slow

@Shlambate, you hear a couple of passing words, mentioning 'unauthorised shuttle takeoff'. With the threat unfortunately you don't hear much else. However there may be ways to follow up on this information further.

@Rabobankrider, is there any chance for Silun to try and figure out the guard's routes and timing from observation?

For 3 successes Do I know who said them or if i heard them fro, multiple people as we walked?

@Edgehawk @Jedi Ronin @Rabobankrider :

Are Andja, Krios, and Carth ready to fake being a work crew with Armatta?

I suggest that Krios carries the ladder and Carth carries the tool kit which we found (plus any extra backpacks of gear), and pretend to be the apprentice electrician/workman types brought along for the heavy lifting. Andja could be the impatient supervisor making sure that the correct work is done (clipboard in hand, distracting others if necessary), and Armatta be the only one actually doing the hands-on work (disguising her slicing attempts).

Shall we try Flight Control first (to get the mag-locks released), and then the droid-guarded doors at the impound hangar (to gain access to the ship itself)?

... For this plan we will need a description of Flight Control and the surrounding area. Maybe we can find an unused console to "repair" (i.e., slice).

@Shlambate

Maybe the Flight Crew team needs to visit Flight Control too, to find out more about that "unauthorised shuttle take-off".

I don't know if it would be better or worse if it happened simultaneously with the Engineers team visiting there to slice the mag-locks. Two different simultaneous distractions might make our two jobs easier.

We could do that I will wait on Rabo's response to my question though.

@Mikeyfett7, sure thing, I'll say an average perception with a setback will do that.

@Shlambate, I'll say you can identify a pair of guards walking away from the area as the source f the comment.

@Bellona, Carth will follow along with the plan of the pc's for the time being.

Trying to figure out the guard's routes:
Perception check: 2eD+1eS+1eA+1eP 3 successes, 2 threat
d-th.pngd--.pngs-th.pnga-s.pngp-s-s.png
Pretty successful, although that threat might leave out something integral.

@Mikeyfett7, you can tell that the patrolling doesn't seem to follow a strict structure, but you feel confident you can time it so that there are only group of organic guards present for whatever you have planned. The droids however don't seem to move, as they don't require shift changes.

That's only one group of organic guards, right?

@Rabobankrider

What about Flight Control and the area just outside of it? How are the layout, staff, and numbers there?

@Bellona, that would only be one pair of guards, yeah.

I'll sort the flight control area in the ic scene when I can.

How hard would it be to follow them?

To follow them, no check needed. To stay out of sight, easy stealth with a boost.

I should have a post for you tomorrow for the flight control area. Sorry for the delay.

I would like to follow unnoticed.

Also is it solo stealth checks still or group checks should we all go?

If it is individual I think @Mikeyfett7 should go with Silun alone as he has the highest Agi to make the stealth check easiest.

I'm ok with either way, but individual might end up being the safest way to go. Still, even a group check should be doable.

@Von3679 has unfortunately had to drop out with school work, so I will be taking over Zalen for the time being.

@Shlambate, if it's just you following it's a solo check, if it's the team it'll be a group check again, same difficulty.

So we could do a combined check and all keep together. I would say silun should do the roll then so we have the best chance.

@Edgehawk @Jedi Ronin @Rabobankrider:

Are we ready to fake fixing/adjusting something while Armatta tries to slice our way into the lift?

What sort of rolls (and from whom) would be required for something like that to work?
