This isn't so much an outright attempt to negotiate with the council, this is more to see what they have in stock currently.

Are we ready to head out? Do we need to make a post saying we are ready to go?
I don't have anything to ask for, but I did want to ask for clarification on one of my starting items. I couldn't find the Jedi Multitool anywhere on the F&D items list (although it's entirely possible I missed it or am looking in the wrong spot). Is it effectively a Tool Kit?

The Jedi Multi-Tool (Keeping the Peace p. 50 [table] and p. 52 [contents of Jedi Utility Belt]) is also known as the Lightsaber Maintenance Kit in the same book (p. 53). It gives an automatic +1 Advantage when building, repairing, or modding lightsabres (and their crystals). It also counts as a Tool Kit for most purposes. (For some reason, I'm picturing Doctor Who's sonic screwdriver.)
A Weapon Maintenance Kit (Savage Spirits p. 49) is a different item. It gives +2 Boost dice to repair, maintain, or modify a specific class of weapons (such as Lightsabers). Presumably it also allows Mechanics checks when working on those specific weapons.
The effects of both stack (as they are different types of bonuses).
Neither of those two items is a standard Tool Kit (all core rulebooks). A Tool Kit just allows the user to make Mechanics checks in the first place. Please note that the Special Modifications sourcebook has the rules for crafting items like Tool Kits (which is what Armatta was doing the day before), and that can imbue a specific tool kit with different qualities than the standard version.

@Shlambate @Jedi Ronin @MarkusKruber @Mikeyfett7
If no one objects, then I'll list the 7 dataspikes on Armatta's character sheet for book-keeping purposes.
Who will carry the stun baton and the two standard blaster pistols?
Krios can take the stun baton
@Rabobankrider how about a bulky robe to make armor less obvious at least from a distance? Or are we taking “luggage” to haul stuff like that once we’re under way?
Edited by Jedi Ronin@Bellona thank you, that makes sense.
Also, I have good agility, so I can take one of the blaster pistols since I can use it fairly well, if no one has any objections to that.
I don't think Robes look very Civiliany We probably want to carry things in bags and cases, @Rabobankrider Do we need a check for that and also what about the face paint and the sunglasses?
Robes seem to be really common to me - it screams Jedi to us but in world it seems to be as vanilla looking as one can get - but I agree doing the best not to stick out at all is the best approach (which battle armor goes against) so let's carry things with us in bags/cases. We'll need some sort of excuse for why we're carrying equipment like this - it it scanning equipment to go over the ship before transfer, etc?
Also, are we posing as officials? As a third party group contracted to do the transfers? Or should we pose as a third party crew hired to sweep the vessel?

I got the impression that disguises (clothing, cosmetics, etc.) would be no problem. It was the more technical (dataspikes) and dangerous (weapons) stuff which required dice rolls.
Does anyone intend to become the group's slicer? (I did not plan on it originally for Armatta's build, which is why she only has 1 rank in Computers.)
ETA: Not to mention the fact that Computers is currently not one of her class skills.
Edited by BellonaSplit the post into two posts for clarity.
A sweeping Crew, with all the tech equipment Armatta will have on her we can put some grease on get up and she will look like an engineer.
Zoroku's Glasses will likely make him look like this but Pantoran

The Blue Dude Abides
Zoroku is going for big damage as that has always been my build for him one punch man who also has Knowledge warfare, I need more exp to actually make a dent in a new tree so I have been holding exp for a very very long time now.
I didn't intend to become a slicer, and have no ranks in Computer. As far as team utility goes, piloting and a little bit of mechanics (from what I've seen Armatta probably far outclasses me in mechanics) is the extent of where I'll be helpful, although take that with a grain of salt, since it's possible that I chose more helpful skills and talents than I realize.
What is the standard procedure for impounded starships?
Once we know what the S.O.P. is, do you want to run a slicing encounter (rules in both Cyphers and Masks [AoR Spy sourcebook] and Special Modifications [EotE Technician sourcebook]) for us if we decide to intercept the normal orders and insert our own "orders" instead?
You may all also add a set of heavy clothes and a backpack to your inventory. @Shlambate if you wish you may also add a disguise kit to your inventory (these pieces are very easy to come by). The kit can be shared by others if they wish. Narratively if you want to stuff your armour in bags to conceal it you can, but the encumbrance would be the same ( I don't believe packs etc can stack).
If you are looking for an official uniform or disguise, you'll need to pick that on the way to th ship unfortunately. The jedi don't keep fake uniforms and such.
On the subject of robes: Robes are common in places, but it is primarily seen among the upper classes and such. If you are going to the opera with the empe-chancellor, robes would be very common. In the mid-lower levels of Corouscant, robes would only really be seen if you are trying to hide your identity.
Also if you guys are worried about skills and such, you may be able to buy/find a droid to cover missing pieces such as computers.
@Bellona, from what Armatta knows about it/has been told here, it is likely that the republic has its docking bay guarded with the ship and its contents impounded until further notice. Normally spaceport personnel would be able to go in and out of the area as life goes on at the spaceport, but it is reasonable to say that this is a special case. This means blagging your way in will require some good ID/documents etc. Of course there are other ways in and the force opens irregular options.
Ok so does this mean we can move out now?
@RabobankriderDo we need to put our preparations in the IC, or do them ooc in here? I wanted to swap my armored robes out for those clothes, and store my armored robes and lightsaber in my backpack so as to not be overly conspicuous.

Krios will pack his armor but keep his lightsaber as concealed as possible on his person.
I almost forgot, I'll also holster that blaster pistol (I'm assuming either the clothes or blaster itself will come with a holster).
@Shlambate, unless there is anything else you want to ask the council, you can can sort an ic post for prep and plan your way of getting out of the temple!
@Mikeyfett7, an ic post for prep would be great, yeah.
You all also have access to your masters if you want to ask them anything after your meeting with the high council. You will need to plan a way out of the temple and to the spaceport without being spotted. The council does also have access to speeders if you want to risk one being recognised, or you can try and make it on foot. How you go ahead with the plan is up to you.
Soooo ... are we going to try to slice into the spaceport systems first?
If yes, then we could try either from outside the spaceport with some combination of Holonet/wi-fi, or - if they're air-gapped for security - find some access point inside the spaceport (maybe an unused office?).
Yes we could try that first as soon as we are all together in the courtyard.
