Star Wars: Revan's War OOC
Destiny!: 1eF 1 Dark Side
Ok, I promise I know how to read and follow instructions. Here is the correct code now.
http://Destiny points: 1eF 1 Dark Side
Destiny Pool: 1eF 1 Dark Side
Is it just me, or do things look a bit dark around here?
Let's bring a bit of light to bear ...
Destiny Pool: 1eF 1 Light Side
E.T.A.:
@Rabobankrider: I don't know if it makes any real difference, but Armatta's Duty should be listed as "Research and Development" on the first page (and not as "Research and Intelligence").

Last of character creation.
Perception for lightsaber attachment: 1eA+3eD 2 failures

So Krios has basic Illum crystal (correct?)
Mechanics for lightsaber hilt: 2eA+2eD 2 successes, 1 threat

Basic hilt with some scratches and scarring.
@Jedi Ronin, ilum crystal, yes. Ok, you are ready to put up an ic post!
@Mikeyfett7, can you do me an average discipline check with a setback (2eD+1eS) to see how meditating goes.
@Bellona, if you are looking to meditate as well, it will be the same check. Rather than play through the whole sparring match as well, I'm going to make it a single roll just to represent how well Armatta fares during. I'll make it a hard lightsaber check for sparring.
I was planning on Krios getting in on the sparring.

1. Meditation check (first hour after dinner):
Meditation: 1eP+2eA+2eD+1eS 2 successes, 1 advantage

Looks successful, refreshing, and possibly more.
2. Amulet crafting (second hour after dinner):
See post at top of OOC p. 155.
3. "Moving meditation" ... I assume that the katas don't need a roll (unless told differently), but here's the open sparring check (third hour after dinner), using the borrowed Training 'Sabre:
Open sparring check: 1eP+1eA+3eD 0 successes, 1 threat

Yowch. Looks like she got some bruises or something! At least Shu can be happy that she won.

Krios is in the sparring chamber. Should I roll Lightsaber. Not sure if the others want him joining in on their match or want it to be more general practice. If not Krios could observe and make comments to break the ice.

Okay, I think I did this right this time. Discipline check for Meditation:
Discipline Check: 2eD+1eS+3eA 2 successes, 2 threat

@Rabobankrider Do I need to make a check to continue this conversation?

When the IC posts catch up, Armatta would probably be willing for a bit more open sparring (stun damage only, with borrowed training 'sabres or regular ones with Damping Emitters or similar).
Do you guys kind of determine the results of your rolls, or do you let the GM do that? For example, I got 2 success but with 2 threat. Do I interpret that how I think would make the most sense, or do I wait for @Rabobankrider to tell me?
Krios sparring roll (he’ll borrow a practice saber in the dojo since his is not stun):
Sparring (Lightsaber): 3eD+3eP+1eA 4 successes, 3 advantage

Or better yet Krios will swap his Illum crystal for a stun emitter for the sparring session once it’s made clear that’s preferred

That probably would require a Mechanics skill check.

I have no idea if @Rabobankrider decided on a generic difficulty for Armatta to use, or if it was set by Shu's skill.

Normal rules are that adding and removal of attachments doesn’t require a check (adding mods to attachments does). But I’m happy to make whatever checks are called for.

Yeah, could be. I’ll wait for @Rabobankrider make a decision. I rolled just in case and so it didn’t hold things up.
@Jedi Ronin, if you want to join for sparring go for it, you can narrate your character being there to introduce them. If anyone wants to spar you can play that out as actual combat. The current roll you have for sparring would suggest that you character did very well against a couple of padawans, feel free to narrate the gist of the combat in your post.
Practice sabers are readily available for those fighting, or it can be narrated as pulling blows so you don't kill anyone.
@Bellona, you have a great session meditating and are able to centre yourself from the chaos of the morning. You can narrate that as you want.
@Mikeyfett7, you also are able to really focus on your meditation and feel significantly calmer, however it takes a lot longer than perhaps it should. You can narrate that in the ic thread.
@Shlambate, if you are looking to recall some specific information then a roll will be involved, if you want to volunteer some information from Zoroku's past to please the admiral, I'm sure you can come up with something creative.
@Edgehawk, when you are ready you may rejoin with your character.
Sorry for the delay all, hope that's cleared up.
@Rabobankrider Well I would like to recall what fighters he saw on the day of the attack and see if he can give any info he has on them or the ships they are using.
Also Zoroku will bring uo that he knows the men who conducted the attack to be former republic under the Sith banner, but that I don't think he needs a check for because of the conversation he had with the soldiers all the way back to the foerost attack
Sorry if I am holding things up gang. I just like Knowing as much info before I post when it come to Zoroku getting into the Navy.
