(I deliberately didn't read all the previous OOC/IC threads before Armatta joined, figuring that since she didn't know the others, hadn't been on missions with them, and was just newly arrived on Coruscant herself, then she would have no reason to have any knowledge of previous events. Jemech being the obvious exception, but that was only briefly on the Outer Rim.)

What kind of Athletics check would Armatta need to get into Karath's office, and would that be just one manoeuvre?

And can she then use his desk or something else to access and copy the security camera recordings of these - and maybe other recent - events?

(Her reasoning is that she has absolutely no means by which to grab Karath off the shuttle and back into the office, but if she can get a recording of his treason, then at least the Senate will know about his plans for a so-called "new republic".)

@Shlambate, you did yes, I forgot to remove it from the list.

@SithArissa, yeah you resist the control no problem there. I'm going to say with the exception of Kai, no one even notices the struggle to resist it with that check.

@Bellona, you may well be able to get that from Karath's office, however to get in there I will need a vs athletics against @Edgehawk, as he is the only enemy between you and the desk not engaged with an ally.

@Bellona if @Rabobankrider allows it, let me go first and I can yeet @Edgehawk out your way and clear the way for the rest of the party.

I can use 2 force moves once a session. As long as I'm in range I can do both.

@SithArissa and @Bellona, normally I would say that the initiative follows the set order, but in the set case as you guys are next to each other, I will allow you to swap around. @SithArissa, and I will need a vs discipline check against @Edgehawk if you are using the force.

Right so first the move vs @Edgehawk. I will take 2 strain to use a Force Power as a manoeuvre.

Take another 2 strain and flip a destiny to use a DS pip. Use 2 pips to move @Edgehawk off safely to the side.

Take another 2 strain to get second manoeuvre.

Move as close as possible with the manoeuvre.

Then use Move to yank Karath off the shuttle and back in to the room.

Armatta moves into the office to Engage with Karath (manoeuvre).

She tries to hit him with the training lightsabre, while calling upon the Force to reduce her fatigue ...

Lightsabre vs. Karath (Adv. 2), plus Flow power: 1eP+1eA+2eC+2eF 1 failure, 2 advantage, 4 Light Side

... Result: she misses :( , but uses the 4 LS pips to regain 4 Strain, and uses the 2 Advantages to give Karath +1 Setback on his next check.

Sorry, folks, but Armatta is not a lightsabre expert yet!

Hopefully someone else will do better vs. Karath than Armatta!

@SithArissa, you can move up to medium range of Karath, however I will need a discipline check to pull him back as well, as he is a nemesis. The difficulty is 3eC+2eD (he has pretty good discipline).

Ok. I'll a destiny to upgrade that check and I have one force reroll i can use if needed.

@SithArissa, as it's a vs discipline for a force check, I don't usually use the advantage/disadvantage from those checks. The check still works so you're sorted there.

One question, as I lost track: with whom is Jemech (Sincereagape) engaged? The only Senate Guards listed as being active are SG 3 and SG 5, but he's listed as engaged with SG 4. Either SG 4 is missing from the list, or Jemech is engaged with one of the other two SGs - or no one who is active.

(Apologies for the accidental reference to another sci-fi franchise!)

@Bellona, they were engaged with the fourth guard but they have since been taken down and I forgot to change the list (there's a lot going on there 😛 ). Currently they are engaged with guard 3, 5 and Zoroku as they are all clustered together.

@Edgehawk, you are up! With your allegiance change, you have Armatta and Jemech at short range of you in the office, as is Karath. As a reminder you staff is also near by on the floor of the office (1 manoeuvre to collect). You also have Zoroku and Oola at short range in the corridor.

Armatta uses Parry on Senate Guard 3's attack: 7 damage - 3 (Parry 1) = 4 damage - 5 Soak = no Wounds taken, but +3 Strain suffered.

She can't do anything about the disarmed training lightsabre (due to Senate Guard 5) until her next turn, so she currently has no weapon in her hands.

Armatta is currently: 3 Wounds taken out of 14, 7 Strain suffered out of 16.

@Rabobankrider: Is the Destiny Pool count on page 1 of this thread the up-to-date one?
