Star Wars: Revan's War OOC

By Rabobankrider, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny Beginner Game

Srry fr the delay. Flying to japan tomorrow for ten days for the sch exchange.

Is zalen still extreme range from everyone?

They are yeah.

Admiralty Combat:

  1. @Bellona engaged range of admiralty entrance.
  2. @SithArissa medium range of defence team.
  3. @Sincereagape
  4. Corouscant Law Enforcement: 4 soak, 14/30 wounds, 3/5 men 1 boost
  5. @Von3679
  6. @Edgehawk
  7. @Shlambate engaged range of Naval Security 2.

@Von3679 I'm going to sort Zalen's turn now to keep things moving, you can sort the ic when ready. :)

Zalen Combat Check: 1eP+2eA+2eB+3eD 1 success, 1 advantage
p-a-a.pnga--.pnga-s.pngb-s-a.pngb-s.pngd-f.pngd-f-th.pngd-th.pngOk that is 1 killed, one badly injured, and if you want you can pass a boost to the next player or recover a strain.

@Edgehawk, you are up.

Anything I should know about the 2 Threat I generated, before posting IC?

Maneuver to Engage/ melee attack: 3eP+2eD 2 successes, 2 threat
p-s-s.pngp-s.pngp--.pngd-f-th.pngd-th.png
edit to add: taking 2 Strain for Threat, unless/until I hear otherwise.

Threat/strain

@Edgehawk, sorry for the delay, that is a fine use of the disadvantage, that is another two down from your attack (lethal damage), leaving only one in your part of the battle.

@Shlambate, you are up!

Admiralty Combat:

  1. @Bellona engaged range of admiralty entrance.
  2. @SithArissa medium range of defence team.
  3. @Sincereagape
  4. Corouscant Law Enforcement: 4 soak, 4/30 wounds, 1/5 men 1 boost
  5. @Von3679
  6. @Edgehawk
  7. @Shlambate engaged range of Naval Security 2.

We are about to leave combat in a turn or two, so you can begin to plan your next moves. Time will be of the essence to try and catch Karath. If you want you can all also roll discipline for strain recovery.

Am I still engaged with the last group?

@Shlambate, you are yes.

What's the difficulty on the attack?

Edited by Shlambate

It'll be average for stanard lethal damage, hard for non-lethal

Lightsaber (Non Lethal): 1eP+3eA+1eB+3eD 3 failures, 3 advantage
p-s-a.pnga-a.pnga-a-a.pnga--.pngb-a.pngd-f-f.pngd-f-th.pngd-f-th.png

I will heal 3 strain Hopefully someone else can help deal with them.

I'm ready to take Armatta's turn (trying to slice the computers to re-activate the turbolifts plus Flow power, maybe other stuff) at the top of the round just as soon as the IC posts catch up.

Edited by Bellona

@Bellona, as Armatta sets to work, they would notice the activity on the console increasing, and it quickly becomes obvious that someone else it trying to interact with the buildings network. They seem to be trying to lock you out of the console. This will be an opposed computer check (unless you want to try mess with the wires, in which case you can use mechanics) with a difficulty of 3eC+1eD+1eS (unfortunately the opponent is more of a computer specialist). If you succeed you remain in the computer system and the check to reactive the turbolift will be an easy check. Don't forget you guys do have destiny points still.

Thank you for the updated information on what sort of checks can be done. I'll definitely want Armatta to use Mechanics (she's much better at that skill than Computers)!

I've already made an Orakos roll, but it was based on the older information (using Computers, wrong difficulty, etc.), so if you don't mind then I'll make a new Orakos roll with Mechanics, the correct difficulty, and using a talent which applies to Mechanics.

ETA

... Well, that didn't go so well. Did Armatta just crash the system, or did something else happen?

Update about IC post

Yeah no worries, go for it. This will be effectively 'hotwiring' the console, so it may limit future use, but should be enough to get the lifts back.

Just to be clear, Armatta tried to use the Mechanics skill to get around whoever was trying to stop her - but failed with a Despair and an Advantage. That's why I'm suggesting that she somehow crashed the part or all of the building's computer system. At the very least she crashed the console/terminal at which she was working.

Maybe next turn she can go over to the turbolifts and try to hotwire one back into action instead, because after that Despair I would think that the console is permanently out of action.

@SithArissa

You're up! :)

@Bellona, I think I'm going to use a recommendation from the books for the despair generated.

Admiralty Combat:

  1. @Bellona admiralty reception.
  2. Government Security Droid: 4 soak, 13/14 wounds, 1 defence, rival.
  3. @SithArissa medium range of Corouscant Law Enforcement.
  4. @Sincereagape admiralty reception.
  5. Corouscant Law Enforcement: 4 soak, 4/30 wounds, 1/5 men.
  6. @Von3679
  7. @Edgehawk engaged range of Corouscant Law Enforcement.
  8. @Shlambate engaged range of Corouscant Law Enforcement.

@SithArissa, there is still one enemy outside at short range, and there is the droid inside (medium range of you).

@Rabobankrider

I assume that Armatta has no activated lightsabre at this point?

@Bellona, I would assume so yeah.

@Rabobankrider just setting up my attack against the governmental droid after arissa’s turn.

My LS check vs 2 purples and 1 black?

@Sincereagape, as they are a rival the check will be 1eC+1eD+1eS

I belive using a stim is a manouvure, if not then ignore the 1st part.

Use 1 manouvure to punch a stim into Oolas leg and take off 5 wounds.

: 3eF+2eP+1eA+2eD+1eS 3 successes, 1 threat, 4 Light Side, 1 Dark Side
f-ds.pngf-ls-ls.pngf-ls-ls.pngp-a-a.pngp-s-s.pnga-s-s.pngd-th-th.pngd-th.pngs-f.png

Unleash on the remaining enemy, spending 2 force to activate the power, take 2 strain and flip a destiny point to use the DS pip as well as the 2 remaining LS to trigger strength 3 times for a total of 12 damage to the guy.

@Rabobankrideryou have a threat to spend.

Im back from japan!

Cool. Far is It away from Jemech?

@Rabobankrider - Went ahead and attacked in the IC thread to keep the game moving as I'll be busy tonight.. Assuming, Jemech was already at ranged with the combat droid. Missed the attack, and using the 2 advantages to recover 2 strain. Let me know if there are any edits I have to do. Thank!
