It probably doesn't matter too much, but Gunslinger used his Side Step maneuver to Upgrade incoming ranged attacks (as a maneuver, this was in lieu of taking cover).

Well because Anler is rolling ahead I'll say another batch is activated. You've got 3 squads of 5 B1's at short range of @Kymrel , 2 squads of 2 B2's, and also the other two towers which would be at medium range of him. If you want to move up in your turn they'd be at the same range for you, but if you hang back just add 1 to the range.

Ok Slugger will be the last to fire anyways but this is good to know.

So what is the feasibility of 2112 using Mechanics to gut one of the combat droid chassis to make a mobile bit of defense for the group? A shield or mobile cover perhaps. Assuming he can get close enough to one of the droid bodies to do it.

Or perhaps hotwire it to give off some kind of feedback signal as a blast, and have one of the stronger squadies maybe throw it at a cluster of droids.

@KungFuFerret , ooh, interesting train of thought. Average mechanics or hard athletics to strip the back or front off a B2 (B2 is the only one big enough, B1 would be like holding up a few sticks).

With the lack of tools you have to turn a droid into a bomb is going to be exceedingly difficult, but I'd say a formidable check should get you something explodey. I will flip a destiny point for this check however.

With the lack of tools you have to turn a droid into a bomb is going to be exceedingly difficult, but I'd say a formidable check should get you something explodey. I will flip a destiny point for this check however.

Ok, and to clarify, I'm not necessarily looking to have the bomb be actual damage, perhaps if it was simply a feedback loop that short circuited the droids, applying some dice penalties to the effected groups, that would be fine too. I mean, 2112 is perfectly fine with blowing stuff up too, don't get me wrong, either would be doable as far as I'm concerned.

Hmm, short circuiting the others from your droid may be a bit of a stretch without the proper tools, I'd say your best bet is the shield or overcharging the droids core or something along those lines.

That's fine, just to clarify, the "blast" i was referring to, would be like say, an EMP signal or whatever that would temporarily make them have difficulty. Sort of like emitting a high frequency sound would freak out a pack of dogs. Similar concept, but with droids. Applying a setback or something to their next action as they reset or whatever. That's the basic gist of what I was going for. Of course a boom works too.

Any preferences from the rest of the squad? Improvised bomb/emp burst or portable cover, however that would play out mechanically? I'm fine either way.

Mechanically they'd be the same, but in terms of narationI'd say the blast works better in this setting.

If you can manage it, a blast would be preferred for me.

Daunting if 4 Difficulty, Formidible is 5 Difficulty.

Simple - 0

Easy - 1

Average - 2

Hard - 3

Daunting - 4

Formidable - 5

Impossible - 6 (Needs DP spent to even attempt)

Eh, screw it, I've got 4 dice and 2 of them are yellow. I'll go for the formidable to make an asplodey droid.

I will also be using a DP to upgrade my dicepool @Rabobankrider

I will make the roll once I get home from work, roughly an hour from now. Is there one within his engaged range at this moment? 2112's last action was to just reclaim his weapon, and advance a range band into cover with the other clones, so this will be for his next action, I'm just planning ahead. Will he need to move as well as make the check, or is there a bot close enough to jury-rig?
