@Shlambate thermal grenades do 20 damage, in this case 21 with the success. I'll also say if the droid survives this would be enough to destroy the shield generator. If you want to put up your ic post I'll sort the droids for the next round.

@Rabobankrider Do I treat the walkers mounted weapon at vehicle scale range bands or personal? I know it’s personal scale damage just didn’t know if the range bands change because it’s on a walker?

Also, would my sensors be able to identify the target?

@satkaz and @KungFuFerret , I'm afraid that the major part of your training section is just about wrapping up. I think I misjudged the length of the combat sections relative to yours. What I'll do is set up a social section for your two when you're finished so your characters can get to know each other a bit more ic (I know story wise you'd already know each other but I haven't given you all much chance to develop it in game).

@Vergence your new enemy is approaching and is currently at medium range using the planetary scale.

Can't it required two maneuvers to get in there. So if Rabo rolls well with that Droideka Slugger could be downed in one turn, it has auto fire and linked on the same gun and it deals a bout as much as Slugger's Z-6.

It's in a Ray Shield, the shield failed after the explosion was contained.

@Rabobankrider wouldn't the bomb going off in a ray shield and bouncing back at the droid cause more damage?

Wouldn't the thermal detonator's Breach 1 negate its armor, and take it out with your success?

Ok guys, quick update on @dfn , he is still with us, but is still unable to post so he is going to be temporarily a background character until we can figure out what is going on.

@Shlambate and @Edgehawk , both very good points there so I am going to say that the droideka is completely knackered. @Shlambate if you want to readjust your post to show that, I'll sort the next stage

@Vergence I think the range of the gun is personal as it's essentially a gun Slugger could operate by hand given the chance. In terms of what details they can see, honestly I'm not 100% sure, but I'll say if you use the active scanners (easy computer) you will get a rough idea of what's heading your way. You can add that into your last post if you want so you don't miss out unnecessarily.

Also @KungFuFerret , @satkaz and @Kymrel , this is a good chance for your characters to get to know each other a bit better while the others finish up. Hopefully that won't take too long, but this is a good opportunity for some social encounter stuff.

Could I perform an education or warfare check to figure out its stats? Basically trying to evaluate whether our weapons can penetrate the armor (soak).
