Star Wars Clone Wars: Cyclone Squad OOC

By Rabobankrider, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny Beginner Game

I will use 1 advantage to boost next PC action, other 2 to boost my own next action.

edit: Unless the 3 advantage could benefit the entire squad, by countering difficulties with the terrain (3 can usually mitigate difficult terrain.. but without setbacks, it might not prove useful).

Ok guys, next obstacle is a hard athletics, but feel free to make assist checks.

Well, I might as well give it a shot.

Athletics [Driving me up a wall] : 1eP+1eA+3eD 1 failure, 1 threat

Forgot the boost.

Boost Die : 1eB 0 successes, 1 advantage

Well, Doc didn't get up.

Does somebody with Brawn 3 want to go first to provide a helping hand (boost) to the next PC if successful. Then we can continue the process down the line.

Similar concept?

Nope

Wall climb Athletics : 2eP+1eA+3eD 0 successes, 1 threat

Unless @Rabobankrider considers coordination a suitable substitute to athletics or there are boost He's missing. Slugger won't get up that wall.

I would be willing to let people use coordination, just write it accordingly. :)

So can he try again with Coordination?

How do we want to roleplay it and use which checks to match actions going up the wall?

Edit: Example, Maybe average athletics for the PC to hold up a character on his shoulders as the other climbs up reducing difficulty? Coordination check to pull up the next guy up?

Muscle your way up its Athletics use your flexibility and agility you get up with coordination.

@Shlambate 's got it. I imagine athletics is just trying to throw yourself up while perhaps coordination is trying to run up it (or something more creative if you can think of one).

I'd also say wait till everyone has had a chance to get up the wall and then we can look at trying again.

Could Anler attempt a Leadership check to organize the clones to form a human (clone...) pyramid of sorts, with two on the bottom boosting up the rest, and the rest then pulling the two up? What would the difficulty be for that?

Average difficulty, 1 setback for Swapar constantly rushing you lot, I think that sounds fair.

Parkour!!

Description Athletics
Results 2eP+1eB+3eD : 0 successes, 1 advantage, 1 Triumph [2eP=Tr, A/A] [1eB=-] [3eD=Th, F, -]
p-tr.png p-a-a.png b--.png d-th.png d-f.png d--.png

Copy pasta: link bbcode

Pass Boost to next PC..

Triumph..?!

XD come on man, don't make this harder for me. Perhaps you can't get up, but can pretty much throw someone up or something?

We break the wall

Any chance I could have accidentally "discovered" (in my unsuccessful attempt to scramble up the wall) an emergency release, which causes the wall to lower.. or would that be too much..?

I second this motion.

Like this:

I'd say deactivating the wall may be a bit much yeah, and if you found one Swapar would probably crack your skull open as he wants to test physical ability over brains here :P Alternatively to throwing someone withing grabbing distance of the top, the triumph could be used like a super success to effectively have Gunslinger vault the thing. It's really down to how creatively you can think for getting over.

Hmm, who else hasn't done their rolls to try and get up the wall?

Let's try the leadership check:

Leadership to organize at the wall : 1eA+2eP+2eD+1eS 1 success, 1 advantage
a--.png p-s-a.png p-s-a.png d-f-th.png d--.png s--.png

Could this be worth a boost for those not yet up the wall?

Hmm, would it be a roll for Doc and Mynock to set up at the base or not?

I was hoping each would be counted as giving unskilled assistance, adding one boost each, and possibly a third for Gunslinger up there. Teamwork should make climbing a wall almost a trivial task.
