Probably 3 red for competitive deception vs. discipline

Drummer is a nemesis, so pretty high stats

So pretty much 0 chance of bluffing the guy. Might as well just skip it.

Boost for voice, and I'll award another if whoever talks puls it off well in my opinion.

You guys do have some destiny points to use as well don't forget.

The chance of rolling a Despair are about 23%. This is not a good risk to take. Especially when the best we have is 3 Ability dice and a boost or two.

I will actually add another 2 boost dice as Drummer can't see what's going on, and isn't suspecting anything. That sounds fairer.

We could give him incorrect info like "under enemy fire we're holding the dome" It'll reveal we're here but it won't tell him that we actually beat Oss and Drummer will underestimate how much time he has. We could also say there's only one squad and no jedi just an infiltration force.

If we are going to lie, why not make it a lie that is more advantageous to us? We don't want him sending reinforcements, fighting in the vents is never going to go our way.

Well, we heard that the slicer was heading towards the docking bay.

Why not tell Major Drummer that we see hostiles near the docking bay? Vents reinforcements to nowhere, and since Oss had line of sight, it'd wouldn't be much of a stretch.

Slugger won't be talking that's all I know, but I think we should comsider if the risk of a Triple Despair, that could be calamitous.

Well the risk of a triple despair is less than 1/1000. And if we reply we at least have a chance (with 4 boost dice not even such a bad chance, almost 60%). If we don't answer Drummer will probably send troops to check anyway.

And while I agree that three red dice are quite a risk OOC, IC Data would go for it.

Hmm..so it'd be something like...

"We're already in position, Major, engaging hostiles at our front. Looks like...wait, what? Major, large enemy force, heading towards the docking bay! Looks like they're trying to get in on two fronts. We're being suppressed from the front! We can not engage the second group at this point. I repeat, we can not engage the second group at this point!"

I guess?

My rationale for this is that at worst, he'll send reinforcements to check up, that's gonna be a possibility. But since we have comms, we might be able to track them in the vents, fool them once more for an ambush. If it goes okay, Drummer is not expecting an attack from the vents anyways, considering he thinks Oss is still there, but won't move his guys around. If it goes well, then he'll vent people to a place where no one's attacking while buying both us in the vents and the guys on the ground some time.

I think we should take the risk but it is a 25% chance at having a Despair show up. If we fail the despair would be very very bad if we succeed he likely won't suspect we are coming to attack him maybe send reinforcements?

Either way, who's willing to do it? I mean, if we want to chance it, any one of us could do it, really. But @SHADOWGUARD CHAMPION has the best chance out of all the clones.

Well if that happens I would suggest that we send Acklay Squad down the path Oss came from, as that is where the reinforcements will most likely come from and try to sneak past in the airvents while Acklay stalls the reinforcements.

Probably @SHADOWGUARD CHAMPION , I don't think anyone else is a clone and has more than 2 cunning.

I don't think we want to split however, we need all the manpower we have to storm the castle.

So do you guys want me to do this and try and decieve Drummer. I knew bumping cunning would come in handy.

That would be appreciated, yes.

Do keep in mind that for an extra boost die, you gotta make up dialogue that @Rabobankrider will like when deceiving Drummer.

I wish this was in person, then I could use two challenge die with the despair rolled out of them.
