@Tramp Graphics , looking within the base you would see no movement beyond the squad moving through the centre of the base. It seems unnaturally quiet here, almost uncomfortably so.

Check the other buildings and perimeter. Full sweep. If you need I'll roll a Perception check, I just need a Difficulty.

@Tramp Graphics , are you going to search the buildings? You post wasn't too clear. If you want to search one of them it'd ne an average perception. If you are telling the others, you will need to do that in the ic.

I'm doing a search myself through my scope and rangefider*.

Perception : 2eA+2eD 1 success

(*only grants the Sniper Shot talent, but still better than nothing).

@Tramp Graphics , to search a building, you would have to actually go into a building. A rangefinder can't see through a wall.

I’m looking through the windows. I know I can’t see through walls. But I’m trying to keep an eye out for potential threats from my current location. It’s part of a sniper’s job. So, what I’m asking is what kind of dangers, if any, can I see from my current position through my rangefinder and scope?

@Tramp Graphics , only one building has a windows (with the exception of the glass roof on the unsearched building, but that is not at an angle you can see through), which is the one that was just searched. You would see no movement or any obvious signs of danger.

Ok, well I’m gonna continue to sweep the entire area, every building opening window, or rooftop, every alley I can see, as well as sweep the entire perimeter of the compound, both inside and out, anywhere where there might be an ambush, enemy sniper, or even a mass assault (as from outside the wall); paying special attention to where the group is heading next.

Ok coll, put up a post in the ic when you can. For the rest of you, when you're ready you can proceed with your search.

@Shlambate , average perception should be fine. I will also allow an average computer check with a setback to try and understand the information being produced by the instruments.

Oh right, he has time to both if you want, or the others can help.

Does anyone with more than 2 int or 2 cunning want to go at it neither of these rolls are good for Slugger. Unless we all get a chance at perception.
