And on another note, does anyon e wish to develop a romantic relationship with Ak u a ?

Cyclone Squad's story is more a band of brothers bromance, but I am not opposed to letting something develop with Gunslinger, in a PG-13ish kind of way. I will keep it in mind, should the opportunity present itself, for something like this to unfold naturally.

Define PG 13ish :P Because that can cover a lot of different types of romance. From 16 Candles to Twilight :P I'm actually kidding, you don't need to clarify or define it. I just couldn't resist that PG 13 classification.

Yeah, everyone roll discipline for recovery and I'll try sort the next scene for Wednesday. :)

Also, now were're well into this session, is everyone having fun?

Yep. Got to heal some people, so we're good.

Anyway, are there any civilians that were caught in the crossfire in the area we're at?

Slugger will not be kissing Martha, his relation ship is like Heavy weapons guy and Sasha.

...I've seen the Meet the Heavy video....I am skeptical of your declaration that he doesn't kiss Sasha :P

I mean passionately like in a romance, more like father and child

Sure, thanks! :) I ddon't think it should be that graphic to, maybe the most we can write out is making out.

Pretty sure PG 13 does allow boobies being out and flapping about. Not endorsing that of course, just if we're using that as a measuring stick of the relationship....boobies are weapons free :P

I was thinking along the lines of Anakin and Padme, as a guideline. And while our Senator may have exposed her midriff, I'm pretty sure the only boobies flapping onscreen were Anakin's.

XDDD I don't think that's appropriate though XD. I guess we'll see. I was thinking more of when clothes start to come off(if it ever does), it'll be time to skip.

Yes I know, I'm just giving you a hard time about it because it amuses me to referee the level of relationship in this hypothetical situation.

Don't forget that black dress with no back and a neck clasp, that plunged down to her lovely booty. I know I won't :P

But seriously, don't use the prequel romance as a measuring stick...I have to read your interactions, and I haven't done anything that bad to either of you to warrant that torture (even though I do think the "i hate sand" line isn't as bad as people think, the rest was terrible).

I hate sand it's course and rough and gets everywhere.

Which is exactly the kind of thing a kid that grew up on a desert planet would say. :P They say the Eskimo's have like 50 different words for snow, and all it's variations. Same would likely apply to sand on a desert world, just look at the Dune books for examples of the differences in that. So yeah, I think that's a perfectly natural little toss away phrase that a kid like him would say. The part after about. "It's not soft, like you, and this place" while creepily touching her? ....yyyyeah, that not so much.

But the bit about them just talking about the environment of the location, and how it contrasts with his birth planet, yeah I can get that. "I grew up on a burning dust ball of sand and heat, where every day is like that day you fell down at the beach and got sand in ALL your cracks. Every...DAY. You can sweep all day and it won't go away. This, this place, with it's nice flowing water, and plants, and non-boiling temperatures....yeah I like it here, it's nice compared to that."

I know I'm basically unpacking what he was trying to convey, but for a conversation about the weather, I don't really see what the problem with that line is, that so many people express.

I don't hate that line I hate the line after it and that it works lol

@Edgehawk , easy check is fine, the noises are in the distance.

Your current objective (given by Fox I think) was to make it to the turbolift around the corner to help with the evacuation around the corner.

Regarding pg ratings etc for the campaign, I know a lot of it is joking around, but because quite a few young people use this server most stuff will simply be fade to black if it ever came up. :)

So combat is over now, so we're back to taking actions whenever. Do you guys want to press on for the turbolift or investigate the battlefield or something else entirely?

Chain of command and such means Slugger is making no decisions.

Although it is a military based campaign, you guys do still have the same types of freedoms when deciding your actions etc, so if you guys want to take the initiative to search around or prepare to move out you can do. :) Having said that, if you are waiting for your squad leaders decisions, @player3333902 , @Kymrel and @Edgehawk , that would be you guys.

Akua would press to the turbolift for the civies

For anyone wanting to try it's an average computers check with 2 setback due to the damage sustained.

Is this computer check to try and operate it damaged? Or is this the check to fix it, 'cause I figured that would be mechanics?

@Rabobankrider On a separate issue, how are you going to handle talents that have a "Once per session" type of limitation to them? I've never really thought of how that could be handled in an online forum style of gaming, since there isn't any defined end to a "session". I ask since I have an ability like that now, and am curious how often I can utilize it.

Good point, to operate it hard computers with two setback to operate broken, average computers with a setback to repair (no need for a computers check after if successful).

I write these as I would a normal session, so I do have specific cut off points that would be classed as the end of the session. You guys are roughly half way here (feels longer because pbp always is), so when I dish out xp etc that will be the end of the session.

Sadly, due to personal reasons, I'm going to have to pull out of this game. Thanks @Rabobankrider and all you wonderful players for a fun game and best of luck with it in the future.

Any civilian casualties in the area, @Rabobankrider , before the squad heads up the turbolift?
