Star Wars Clone Wars: Cyclone Squad OOC

By Rabobankrider, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny Beginner Game

Base Defence:

  1. @Shlambate
  2. @Von3679
  3. @Edgehawk
  4. Horde 2: 2 soak, 2/100 wounds, 1/20 people, pierce 2, engaged range of command centre 1 boost
  5. @Xcapobl medium range of the base.
  6. @vandarl short range of the base.

@Von3679 , that is enough to kill the last of the gungan's outside of the base and can put up the ic whenever available. The only one left is inside of the command centre. @Edgehawk , you are up next, the command centre is at medium range of you.

@Xcapobl and @vandarl the gungan's turn will take place off screen as the players can't see it, so you can go immediately after @Edgehawk . You are both currently at short range of the base

Gunslinger burns his last Strain in order to reach the command center.

Using maneuvers to get to the command center, while scanning for allies who might need his help.

Base Defence:

  1. @Shlambate
  2. @Von3679
  3. @Edgehawk
  4. Horde 2: 2 soak, 2/100 wounds, 1/20 people, pierce 2, engaged range of command centre 1 boost
  5. @Xcapobl medium range of the base.
  6. @vandarl short range of the base.

@Edgehawk , when you arrive at the command centre you would see that the gungan has destroyed a lot of the electrical equipment inside and seems to be ignoring your arrival.

@Xcapobl you can get to short range of the command centre currently if you take the two strain for the additional maneuver.

It seems that @vandarl is inactive so for now their character will follow, meaning that it is now @Shlambate 's turn.

@Rabobankrider 2 strain taken. I feel some urgency here! 😉

@Shlambate if you can sort a post soon, that will be great :)

Can I get that last Zombie? @Rabobankrider

@Shlambate , Gunsliger will have to move out of the way (narratively will be fine, no manoeuvre needed), but yes you can. The enemy is at medium range of where you are, and there will be a setback for partial cover from the consoles etc.

Base Defence:

  1. @Shlambate
  2. @Von3679
  3. @Edgehawk
  4. Horde 2: 2 soak, 2/100 wounds, 1/20 people, pierce 2, engaged range of command centre 1 boost
  5. @Xcapobl medium range of the base.

Unfortunately it seems that @vandarl has gone inactive, so I am removing them from the initiative order.

Can I move into short and then shoot?

@Rabobankrider I had eye surgery today so if you could give me a bit more time to respond in all games that would be nice.

@Rabobankrider , CT-4077 should be at short range of the command center by now, not medium range from the base. I took those 2 strain you mentioned to do so.

@Shlambate , no worries, thanks for letting me know.

@Xcapobl , forgot to change it in the ooc list.

  5. @Xcapobl short range of the command centre.

@Rabobankrider Can I move up to short and still fire? If so I will do that.

@Shlambate , you can do yes.

I’ll do 13 damage this time and heal 2 strain as it doesn’t need to be obliterated.

Hey guys, so sorry for the delay, been a super busy week for me, but I’m back. Sprry for not informing yall too

@Von3679 , no problem.

@Shlambate , that most certainly does the job, the last of the enemies is dead. Everyone can roll discipline to recover strain (as usual 2 advantage can be used for an additional strain).

@Xcapobl , if you want you can take this chance to introduce your character to the others properly.

Additionally, what do you guys want to do next? You had gotten some information off of the console before the battle (see below), and have a bunch of unnatural enemy corpses lying around now.

"Acting base commander, CT-2412. The disappearances are continuing, and it's not just equipment or the civ's now, but the soldiers to. I still don't know what is doing it, but it's out there, somewhere, in the mists. After the captain went missing, I sent the walker out to investigate the structure the scouts found, but it hasn't returned. I don't know what to do. I can't even contact the herd ship until the storm passes".

He looks as if he is about to speak again, but there is the sound of shouting and gunfire off of the screen. Suddenly the image shakes, and the hiss of the doors can be heard.

"They're inside! They're here!" Someone shouts as the sound of gunfire and crashing can be heard. The figure on the recording grabs for a carbine, but is torn from view with a shriek. With that the recording ends.

Hmm.. This sounds like a good idea, right guys?

A good idea?

Hmm... i don’t mind... it would probably give the info we need.

Srry, I have a friend staying at my house now, so was offline the past 2 days. Will be free later on tonight.

This next section is really down to you guys, you'll need to decide your next course of action in the ic thread really to proceed.

Alright so do we report back that the Gungans have turned into Zombies or do we search further?

Discipline : 2eA 2 successes, 2 advantage

Also before I forget the Strain recovery

@Shlambate , you can try to contact the herd ship, but you may struggle with the storm and the damage to the coms. With some mechanical work though it may be possible.
