I'm hoping the failures just indicate we are targeted, as at least a couple of us just purchased talents that can upgrade incoming ranged attacks..

The shots being fired aren't as damaging as with regular stun rounds, think of it being like walking into a powerful electric fence. The failure basically means you weren't fast enough to avoid getting shot. It doesn't really knock you down or anything, it just stings a bit, and represents it temporarily slowing you run. It'll be more relevant to your overall time at the end of the exercise. I think any strain will just translate as strain in this situation. That sound ok to everyone? If so I'll throw up a post in response to your rolls.
I think that sounds good. Guess threat would be extra strain suffered by getting hit a bit harder than usual?
Sounds fine
Sounds fair
You're the GM! Just tell us what happens, and we'll roll with it!
Haha, alright I'll stick the post up today.
@KungFuFerret
, you about ready to join the exercise with your squad?
Also guys the swim will be an average athletics with 2 setback I think. Failure means you get turned around or lose momentum or something and it will take another check to get through. If you're successful it's only one maneuver to get through so you only need to pass 1 check.
Would Anler get a boost (or perhaps not suffer the setback) since, unlike the clones, he's not wearing stiff armor?
That seems fair, go for it
Swimming Average Athletics 2x Setback
:
2eP+2eD+2eS
1 failure, 1 advantage
I’ll use my advantage for a boost I guess.
Swimming Round 2
:
2eP+1eB+2eD+2eS
2 successes, 1 advantage
Advantage for anybody needing a second round.
Well he succeeds again without passing boosts. @Rabobankrider stop adding all these dice that kill the boost passing! Lol.

Which one? Skip the setbacks or get a boost?

Yeah, as long as you explain how I'm going to be introduced into the flow.
Athletics [Swimming]
:
1eP+1eA+2eD+2eS
1 failure, 1 advantage
Welp. Giving an advantage to myself.
Athletics [Swimming part 2]
:
1eP+1eA+2eD+1eB+1eS
0 successes, 1 threat
Another strain. Starting to drown.
Athletics [Swimming part 3]
:
1eP+1eA+2eD+2eS
1 success, 1 advantage
Finally, the first Athletics check Doc passes in this PbP. Advantage to recover one strain.
If that failed...Doc might have been the first casualty.
Edit: Forgot 2nd setback dice for second check.
Setback Dice
:
1eS
0 successes, 1 threat
For third check:
Setback Dice
:
1eS
0 successes
Whew.

Just realized I didn't add a setback dice to second check.
Guys, please don't let your medic drown
@KungFuFerret , (I think it was in my first post for the actions) Swapar counted down the next squad to start, following the others as they go. So you'd be starting crawling through the wire (average coordination) and then the wall (hard athletics with a couple of boost if needed to represent your squad helping you up).

Why not both?
Ah, sorry, @Kymrel you can take the boost or it, the setback aren't actually linked to armour

Ironic, he could save others from death but not himself.

Very. Such is life as a medic.
Swimming
:
3eA+1eB+2eD+2eS
2 failures, 1 advantage
Sputter sputter, cough cough. Let's try again with a boost from my single advantage:
Swimming 2
:
3eA+2eB+2eD+2eS
2 successes
That works, but no boosts to help anyone...
Doc is now Plagueis
