Sorry for the delay, I'll be doing a mass posting across the board asap
Star Wars Clone Wars: Cyclone Squad OOC
Holy Triumph @Rabobankrider !! Well that mass combat went better than expected!
It really did! Anyway, if you want to try and finish up with the last clone you guys will be out of combat. Alternatively you guys could risk leaving him alive and carrying on.

So anyone can shoot him down? What is the range?
Anyone who chased after him would still be medium unless they spend the 2 strain to close the gap. Anyone who hasn't moved would be long now I think.
Shooting the last trooper
:
2eA+1eP+1eB+2eD
2 successes, 1 advantage
I run after him use 2 Strain for an aim and I think I got him.

Dam beat me by a minute.

Also, waiting for the resolution of the fight and information about where we are in relations to the HQ.
It's cool, I know if it's in IC, it's between characters and (hopefully) not users.
Also, that Triumph on the mass check, indeed.
So what is the plan now?
It seems we won't have much time before we get caught by the retreating forces so maybe take the quick route right through the front door?
I think we go through the front door time isn't on our side, we may be winning but all it takes is 1 or 2 despair on a Mass check to put us on the back leg again.
Might as well get a move on, really. We don't have much time...unless Anler cuts a hole in an unexpected part of the HQ.
If you're willing to take a bit of an odd route that is an option.
Well we need our Commander to weigh in @Kymrel what do you think?
With the amazing mass combat check I think we need to move quickly. My vote goes for a frontal assault. Lead by someone other than Anler!
If we're really just going with a frontal assault, Gunslinger will lead the charge, guns blazing.
I think the element of surprise is lost by now. We'll have to rely on speed to get to the HQ before they can reinforce too much. Or get stuck in if they manage to pull back enough troops to mount a defense, knowing that we are tying down valuable resources and allowing our boys elsewhere to progress faster.

Yeah, I see. We need to go now, then.
Also, for the end of the encounter: recovering strain.
Discipline [Recovery]
:
1eP+2eA
2 successes, 3 advantage
Hmm, wonder if someone has a stun grenade or three out of those clones...

Ah good I should roll discipline as well see if I can burn some strain.
Discipline
:
2eA
1 success
Well it is something.

Destiny points can make things appear!
Remember, no explosives.
Discipline to recover strain
:
2eA+1eP
4 successes, 1 advantage
Anler is fine on strain, but a rude comment away from dropping due to wound status.

Yeah, I think that's what is going to be ruled anyway.
Hmm, problem is that a door's a really defensible spot. I know Doc hasn't taken any wounds so far. Anyone else?
Exactly the problem with the exercise. Which is why I think the sneaky GM has set us up to fail (the organizers of this whole thing might think attempting an 'impossible' task builds character). Like I've said before, assaulting a defensive position held by equal numbers, with no explosives, is normally pretty much impossible.
Well Slugger is at 8/14 so if we have any means of treating wounds on the go that would be great if not he's got one direct shot in him or 2 glancing blows. If he could get his gun to land it's mark he could turn a fight easily.

Hmm, we're still going at it fairly well, but yeah, it's not going to be good.

Getting ready to flip that if needed.
