I see I'm not the only one who thinks this might be the case. It seems the scenario is set up for a loss. Assaulting positions defended by an equal number of troops with no explosives, let alone artillery or air support is a textbook example of a bad idea. But that makes it even sweeter if we manage to pull off a win.
Remember, if we get the enemy commander out of the game, they will have much, much worse dice pool for the mass combat. Of course, it will be a hollow victory if we do this and all "die" in the process...
