the three advantages: 1 Boost to my next check and 2 strain recovery.

In the case of falling avalanche I'll use Coordination dodge

Balk is at 7 / 14 Strain and 6 / 25 WT - 2 White and 1 Black Destiny

The armored guy tried with all his might but with a swift move Balk turned his body around to avoid the fiercefull attack, but he stumbled upon his own feet, so his own attack was a bit of but than he found his grace again was puting his claws deep into his enemy shoulders, he could already smell the blood of his enemy.

"Uhh that sounded painfull Blacky! Hope ya will spar with me a little longer!!"

He felt so alive! Who cares that he was just a new version of some guy that died... as long as he could rip his enemys apart there would be no regrets!

I will use Parry and Supreme Armor Master, bringing me to 11/15 strain (including the minor nick) and 9/20 wounds.

9 damage, so none gets through armor. Maneuver to use a second stimpack, use 1 advantage for a Boost on my next roll , 4 advantage to heal 4 strain.

4/20 wounds, 7/15 strain.

Denthos jabs and slashes at the Balk, but the Nikto simply wades through the flurry of attacks, letting the lightsaber blade spark off his thick armor. The alien seems to be enjoying this!

Denthos is not enjoying it. He stabs another stimpack into his leg and braces himself for the alien titan's next attack.

This guy was tough the solid armor combined with the quick use of Stimmpacks would keep him on his feet for a long run, espacially since this enemy somehow was able to avoid lethal blows ... if Balk wanted to kill him with his bare hands or better claws...
Of course he could just shut down the lights of his opponent... ending the fighting part with a K.O. ... in the end such a helmet was the equvalent to a bell and a head can be used as the bells' ball.

He smiled even more, the evil smile of the predator knowing to win over his prey.

"Boy it was fun with ya! But now you will go to sleep!"

fast and merciless his fists clashed down on his enemys helmet, again and again, faster and faster.

"Ding dong, the black one goes down, ding dong,

ding dong the Black one IS down, ding dong!"

The armored Guy fell down like a tree after a last devasting hit to the helmets front.

loudly he sceamed and roared out his victory while standing over the fallen foe.

"I'll let ya alive... this time, pray we never meet again... but if so, then let have fun again!"

Man, my hat is off to you! I thought my tough guy could at least go twelve rounds with the heavyweight champion, but I should have known better. That's a h ell of a build you put together.

I have to admit I really like this guy, his only (combat) weak spot are thermal detonators with high vicious ratings it seems.

May be (if I ever be able to be a player instead of GM on my table I'll build this guy with the possibility to go "force exile" for one extra defense and 2 FR to use the enhance - Brawl Upgrade - could be devasting ^_^

After he had collected an unbelivable high bounty on a droid some month ago, Grrwahlryyl went home to his beloved once to spend some time in peace an tranquillity. While sitting on the floor of his sisters hut, playing with both his nephew and niece, he hears an uprising outside.

When he went to the door to check on what ever was going on, another wookiee flew through the splintering wood of the door. Shocked for a moment, Grrwahlryyl realizes the loud scanting outside on the wooden path.

An enormus creatures, maybe a mutated nikto or something like that, within an heavy full armor was lifting one of the wookiees clans men, shooting over and over again the same words:

"WHERE IS HE!! WHERE IS THE BASTARD THAT TOOK MY PREY!! I CHALLENGE HIM! WHERE IS HE!! ..."

The Green Creature is looking around locking eyes with the proud wookiee bountyhunter.

"THERE HE IS!... There ya have been all this time... little furball! I, Balk the better Bulk, challenge you for taking my prey!"

While saying so he throws the other wookiee away like a puppet.

Grrawlryyhl does a double-take, and a million thoughts run through his head in a split second. The Bulk? Wasn't he dead? Wait, did this unholy creation say "Balk?" Where in the worlds did he get a clone so fast? Or was it all a ruse?

These things faded to the back of his mind as he automatically drew his trusty rifle from its place on his back and prepared to unload on this Nikto monstrosity...

The impact from Grrawlryyhl's blaster sends the mutant careening off the walkway. The Wookiee chuffs and climbs up so as to get a good view with his enhanced vision. <Not dumb enough to approach and look over the ledge,> he mutters to no one.

climbing with the LRB in both hands? That would require an action, wouldn't it?

and the fall down would put another range band between us (only if i was engaged) but ok I'll go with it.

More Jumping like a beast than climbing, Balk reaches the level of the wookiee again. "Ya know, I really dislike those weapons... thought ya furballs had claws, wanna try again like a man or will ya just shot like a puppy?" while snarling the words he reaches to one of his belt pouches and draws out a little stimpack that he induces rightaway.

"Let us start once again!"

Fast climbing is an athletics action - hence the check without the possibility to do anything else.

The keyword (you already usede) is in addition to "non movement" maneuvers - of course I wouldn't allow to make an action for running while also using 2 maneuvers to move.
but in this cas I used an action (including chack that could fail) to move and maneuvers to do other stuff (seems hardly logic that you can run an shoot but no runn and give yourself a peninjection)

Also I could mention that in this case I could aply the chaase rule, since you used your movement to get further away, I started to chase you (reducing the range by one rangebent for each sucsess, now you could ether say the chaase is on by trying to run and expanding the range again even escaping (which would not really fit the character but if you want to try to finish the match that way it would be your call)

In this version you get to attack me once again on short range before I can do anything - alternative I can rewind the process and use My destiny point to do some Terraforming let you crush down (without damage) to my level and allow me to attack - your call

could fail, sure. Same as a DC 10 check made with +8 bonus could, technically, fail ;) (that's what we call a "low risk proposition." Especially when one sets their own difficulty!)

Anyway, that is aside from the main issue. You raised an objection for me moving away from you just because I narrated "climbing" when I had a rifle out (mechanically just taking two move maneuvers; height gives no mechanical advantage in this fight), and I conceded the narrative restriction in addition to the rules restrictions of two maneuvers per turn, and retconned my moving to be lessened because I stowed my rifle—in light of this, how could you possibly expect me not to raise an issue with you getting 4 maneuvers in one turn? That's totally screwing with the action economy of the game.

If anything, I'd suggest this:

  • a Daunting (PPPP) Medicine check could to be made (+3 difficulty increase for not having proper equipment and working on yourself) and a stimpack could be applied as part of that check (so automatic +5 wounds healed, plus whatever happens with the Medicine check)
  • and then you could take two maneuvers (one to stand up from prone, one to move ). Yes the difficulty is high, but you get your damage healed.

And no, I don't agree that a Destiny Point could be spent to just bring me from almost long range so that you can attack me. That's crazy overpowered. I would agree to an Impossible Athletics check (you don't see just anyone pulling wroshyr trees apart) to get me to short range. Put that Brawn to good use :D

All that being said, I'm totally down for a chase scene, if you want to start that this round instead. It changes things up and could be an accurate representation of what we're trying to do: I am trying to get some distance to shoot at you and chip away at that crazy armor (not to escape), and you're trying to close the distance to one-punch me. It makes sense. It also makes things more exciting narratively, and firms things up as far as action economy goes...you can use you turn to just move and conserve your strain, or shoot or throw something and spend more strain to move further away.

Vine-swinging and tree climbing, perhaps? Competitive Athletics/Coordination checks at the beginning of every round, Difficulty of Average, upgraded once, +1 setback for sparse forestation? I would propose we increase the setbacks for the Competitive checks by 1 for every round, or maybe every 2 rounds, that we carry on to reflect heavier forests, sheer cliffs, longer drops, etc? Despair = a short range fall. //

Crap now I am taunted to try this :lol: ... Ok I'll rewind my whole turn from before, and I try to make that impossible check (spending my DP to even try it!) but If I suceed I really want you make fear check, because as you laid out: (you don't see just anyone pulling wroshyr trees apart) ... afterwards we may do the chase ... so my turn will determin the starting range If you still go for it.
