Didn't someone from Hornet Squadron think that the Auzituck wasn't going to be that good and that Lowhhrick partnered with Biggs as part of a squad wouldn't be able to output enough damage to win games?

Not that i remember but i could be wrong. What I remember is them discussing Woobie more than lowrider. And yes Blake was excited about running 3 aggressors with Jonus as well. But on another note the Krayts though triple scurrgs was going to be the next triple deadeye jumps so to say a bad thing about one podcast that may have gotten something wrong while praising another that got something wrong is just crazy in my opinion.

Oh, I don't take any offense at all. I'm just bored by it. When I said "distracting", I meant exactly that. When I want to listen to a good X-Wing podcast, having them spend ten minutes on peeing in circles is silly.

I could listen to the podcast in front of my 7yo and 2yo without any problems, too, if only because they don't speak English.

I also want to say that I don't dislike the Krayt podcast at all. I love the fact that this game attracts so many people who want to make podcasts, and the way there are so many different podcasts for different target audiences. And again, the actual content is great.

No praise was mentioned in my reply anyway about Krayts, even though I have enjoyed their podcasts more and more as of late. Plus having no one (that I've seen) play triple Scurrgs yet doesn't mean they won't be in the near future when people decide to try it out. We'll have to see...

my bad not meaning to insult. Just saying in general. We tried the triple deadeye scurrgs here in our meta and they did not fair that well at all. the 1 agility hurts them.

Truth. To be fair, NSR always felt longer than it actually was. Maybe it was the oft-mentioned Flight Deck, maybe it was having seven or so people on it, maybe it was because Ed was a little bit boring. You were all into the numbers and funny math models, but at least you were excited about it

Eh....I'm glad there's a healthy variety of shows to download. And I'm in the minority that is ok with long episodes.

As long as they are about x wing.

Hell, I'd love a four hour show from any of them that actually talks about the game and how to play it better.

I've just grown super weary of being insulted by most shows who seem to enjoy trashing the forum members.

I honestly enjoy the fact that krayts do gud math. FFG should just hire a stats intern every summer for $12 an hour and vet their shtuff. It took D1-CA 20 minutes to calculate final salvo sucks why couldn't FFG. I like both mynocks and Krayts. I know they both care.

I flew 2 Deadeye Concussion Missile Scurggs with PtL Fenn Rau to a 5 person Store Championship victory. Skill Bullets definitely carried me.

Thanks for telling me 4/4 hit odds of Concussions vs. Homings. It's soooo much better with Homing Missiles and it's so worth only having 5 missiles instead of 6, and that's not counting the benefits of being able to keep a TL if you roll well and denying evade token usage.

I think I'll pick up my third Scurgg. I do like myself some good old-fashioned Pre-CancerWing Golden Age Jousting(tm), and the ability to do one straights, focus, and actually damage things again feels great. Very wholesome.

I want to donate to your podcast, but I'm scared that if people do you'll end up getting lazy and doing it for the money instead of the love of it and it will stop being special.

Make a challenge coin like Nova did and fail to have them shipped to half the people that ordered them. I'd pay $20 for a Krayt challenge coin if I had a 100% chance of getting one, after all I paid $10 for a 50% chance of getting a Nova Squadron one.

This thread caused me to try out the Krayts podcast yesterday. What a waste of time! I only endured half an hour and during that time X-Wing was barely even mentioned and there was no useful or interesting information at all. The latest podcast just sounds like a bunch of nerdy guys rambling away in somebody's basement in backwater Carolina. I found myself just waiting for the sounds of Cheetos-munching and Mountain Dew-guzzling to appear in the podcast. Focussing more on the actual topic of the podcast and cutting down on the foul language, which adds nothing, would really help here.

The episode notes did say Travis was absent. If you want content you should have flagged that fact and skipped.
