I care.

What's funny is... literally two "generic" squads have punctured the meta at all: howl swarm (it was barely an actual meta force), and sear swarm (it was an actual meta force, even if it's numbers were low), and people are already tired of it.

People absolutely hate generics.

How many points does static cost, in your ideal dream world?

Because of Howlrunner and iden, I'm totally comfortable with the epsilon being the "pivot" around which everything is priced. So, if it's 26 points...I like 30/31 for static. It can seriously mess with target priority,. It only under very limited circumstances which to me seems like interesting choices.

Is this form of prejudice called a "generalist?"

In on true ace plus generics, where the ace is at least a quarter of the list.

Interesting tidbit that could do with being more widespread, as regards generic point balance. I'm currently messing with x1s. Paying 3pt for I3 and Crack Shot, feels not bad. The value obviously diminishes with every additional point spent on the talent. A 1pt difference in the pilots, with Crack Shot up 1 to compensate, seems good to me, as a rule.

Just thinking aloud.... haven't considered what any other ship costs or is capable of at mid Init.

Oh, man. Pay 2 point over an Omega for the initiative, but an Omega is overpriced by at least 1, so 31? Call the words free on this guy.

Hard working blue collar pilots like Jad Bean, Longshot, Omega Ace, Turr, and Sabers deserve middle class tax breaks.

Also I cant escape the feeling that increased Ace taxes will have some unintended consequence. Resulting in consolidation of production into 2 ship lists to preserve bid and reinvestment in premovement abilities.

4 more points to bump I2 torrents to I3/Crack BSPs doesn't feel terrible, but also doesn't feel great. Four of those Crack BSPs (currently) fit with any 7B Jedi, with loadouts varying. I was playing that with a decked out Obi for a while and it felt pretty good. I think I actually made it worse by going down to Golds with Broadside because it started losing jousts. It also probably just got better by including Ric and/or other Jedi. Hrmph.

You know, I think I'm in on a timeline that moves to 2-ship lists. They're stupid, but they're not ace squads that joust better than efficiency squads.

Which, in turn, will lean into bombing and anything else AOE to combat them?

Yea same theoretically in this timeline premovement is still expensive and their are better high ship count squads around.

Still just something been thinking might be a unexpected end result that makes some 2 ship Ace players happy in ways they didnt anticipate after a pts nerf.

I can't really see a points scenario which does much to aces other than shrink the band of their bidding war.

Iv gotten pretty used to dealing with Two Ship Ace lists via conventional means provided one of them is blockable its usually fine. If they are both unblockable its less fine I guess.

I actually would like this right now. AOE vs double ace vs triple aces with compromises vs efficiency starts being an interesting dynamic. Right now feels very much like triple ace is just better than everything.

SOAK THE RICH, MAKE THEM PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE! NOTHING BAD HAS EVER HAPPENED WHEN TAXES WERE INCREASED! TAXES HAVE NEVER CAUSED A REBELLIO- ...

... er, actually, let's put a hold on those taxes, eh?

Only three people were zealots enough to make cut at world's with generic only lists. Why do I know this number? Do I know a player that did this?

All hail Frank, first of his name, king of the bad jousting list

I only brought a name so my generics could be better. #tySear

...but also @jagsba is my hero

I think I'm with @Biophysical I might be okay inviting back in 2 ship lists, but that might be because I'm just waiting for a reason to use Sloane again... @Boom Owl bring on the 2 ship lists, I'll bring the stress.
