Jedi Quest IC thread
// Just got in late last night and at work now, but will get an IC post up this afternoon! Thanks for your patience. //
Maa't feels a shearing pain in his head, he thinks it is night and tries to sleep. No! I must get up! he opens his eyes and he is being carried. Its time to run.

1 light side equals one success. He's running alright
Edited by Matt SkywalkerFrom below, you hear the distant churning of water turbines become more insistent. Then, a grinding noise, followed by a loud *BOOM* in the huge cavernous area that you just left.
One of the tall holding-tank pillars, which runs from the ceiling down to the floor of the massive complex, is now starting to give way. The metallic grinding continues, and is met within seconds by klaxons from the Kaminoan's emergency notification system.
For the moment, the stormtrooper fire has ceased, but they won't be far behind.

As Maa't, Tovera, and Jarash flee down the tunnel, to the left from the now collapsing room, the stormtroopers are hot on their tail, using a nearby turbolift bank to quickly ascend. They close the gap, firing madly at the trio running to the east.
Chundarr has a pretty good understanding of how to get to Maa't, but will require some effort on the Wookiee's part. Chundarr is in a complex system of tunnels, which house translucent pipes full of bioluminescent sea critters. These pipes stopped flowing the moment the explosion occurred. Maa't was to the south, a level below where Chundarr is now. Chundarr is running to the east now, in a tunnel that looks like it's going to be curving around to the right (south). Chundarr, you come upon a window that offers you a view of a long chute that looks like it spans the length the large room you just left. You can try and take this chute or continue running—what do you do?

Korath has a certain understanding of where his target is headed. The question was, would they get there before being blasted? There was a turbolift bank to Korath's right, which might lead to the level that his target is on. Or he could continue running and hope to join together with them some other way.

Wouldn't the roll I just made get me there? The freerunning and Shortcut talents, combined with the Enhanced athletics roll should get me down that shaft right quick.
// The Simple (-) Athletics check gave you a really good head start, and the Triumph gave you an easy way down (it's not the only option, but at least it's obvious). The turbolift doesn't run on Athletics checks, however
But you can feel free to be creative! //

As if to punctuate the urgency of the situation, the door behind Korath suddenly began to strain against the lightsaber-weld. Apparently, there was someone in there that didn't appreciate being imprisoned.

Well, the plan was to parkour down the shaft to the level where they are.

The turbolift door opens at the push of a button. Korath can see that it is a functional lift with no clear access to the actual shaft.
The grinding and groaning sound from far down below intensifies, as if a huge machine were tearing itself apart.
The door down the hall behind him shudders as if it was struck by something very heavy, and one of the bolts holding the doorframe to the wall pops out.

So there's a car actually present? If that's the case, "Going down".

The turbolift doors close, but not before Korath sees a sizeable, convex dent appear in the door he'd sealed shut.
'He woke up quick," Korath thinks to himself.

// That he did! //
// What are the rest of you doing? //
As the turbo lift descends to the lower level, Korath closes his eyes and concentrates on the Force, allowing waves of healing to travel through his body.

// @Rakaydos @Matt Skywalker , what are your characters doing? You're currently being chased by stormtroopers (who are at long range) and the facility is being rocked, possibly torn apart, by the equipment failure. //

"This is now a personnel extraction op. The dark-robe used an elevator to go down, there should be one to go up. If the elevator fails, then we can leave him."
"Lead the way, sir."

Chundarr sees the chute and the path well might as well he enters the chute and keeps running

Tovera and Jarash search for a turboshaft. Even if it's out of service, it's a straight shot to the upper levels.

You find a turbolift shaft at Medium range from your starting position. It's coming down towards your level right now, and the stormtroopers are on your heels at extreme range.

(spending a Dark Side Destiny Point) The chute is lined with some sort of slick surface, and Chundarr immediately loses his footing! He falls and starts sliding down the metallic chute at high speeds. The smell of refuse is strong, and getting stronger by the second.
What does Chundarr do?
// I'm going to use coordination to reduce falling damage what's the diff.
