Star Wars: In The Pits OOC

By Richardbuxton, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny Beginner Game

Because a Chadra-Fan can have a better Athletics pool than Coordination one.

Athletics check to reduce falling damage : 2eA+2eF+2eD 1 threat, 2 Dark Side

If the Threat is not going to give me more Strain, I wish to use my 2 DS pips to gain 2 Successes. 1 Success, and 1 Advantage to negate that Threat otherwise.

Coordination is an option too, and considering how much better his coordination is I will allow you to roll again if you would like

Vyrr's Coordination is worse than their Athletics in regards to the mean number of Successes rolled (although, not by much - a Force die gives 16/24 of a Success, while a Green die gives 15/24). So yeah, I was going for a flashy play with my previous roll.

Fair enough, I dig that.

For the threat I'm going to say that you land in a position where you are no longer in engaged with the switch

I will post some time after I wake up. In the meantime, I would like to advise people to prepare actions for the second PC initiative slot.

Can I get into medium range of the group of Vrblthers heading to the center?

Yes, you can. They are larger and 4 separate targets. Mechanically speaking they are Rivals. If you target one of them they have Adversary 1 in addition to Defence 1

Ok. How many are left by Bull (I think there's only one, just want to make sure).

Guys?

I'm alive and waiting.

Ready when you are

Been hugging the toilet for more than a day <_<

feeling better now though so give me a little while and I'll get on top of it.

I think there's the last of slot for the round?

Yes 1. He Disengaged from the others.

No, Bull is no coward! They disengaged from him after Mike and Bull killed one by throwing it into the wall.

Ok. I will move to medium of the nearest Rival Vrblther and use Harm. Do I need a skill check or just a Force check. Also, given this will be my first attack I get the bonus Force Die correct?

Just a Force check and correct you add a die

Harm on Vrblther : 3eF 2 Light Side, 2 Dark Side
f-ls-ls.png f-ds.png f-ds.png

so I spend one LP to increase the range and one to inflict the Harm. That's my Intellect (3) plus my Medicine (3). 6 damage ignoring soak.

I'll write something up either tonight or tomorrow.

I will be travelling between cities until Friday. If my turn comes while I am not available, I wish to move away from Vrblthers, and, assuming action economy allows, attack them with my rifle, spending advantages on Auto-Fire. I wish to move in the direction of 3 o'clock (relative to Vyrr, not the map's centre), assuming the established frame of reference.

Hope that Revanchist posts soon.

Guys?

Waiting on me again sorry, its top of the round and either the Minion or Rival NPC's need to act.

@Richardbuxton so what do the minions do?

Richardbuxton?

So here's the layout currently as I read it, each dash is the equivalent of a move manoeuvre, + = Engaged, 0=Short, 1=Medium, 2=halfway to Long, 3=Long, 5=Extreme :

Beast Entrance

|

|

|

Vrblther(1/3/2) 4 Big Vrblther (not engaged)

B1+Vyrr Vrblther(4) - - -Centre,Bull,Michael - Sevrath - - B2

|

|

|

PC Entrance

And the Big Vrblther Rivals are going to go.

2 are going to Engage Bull and Michael both will Aim with one attacking each PC.

A third is going to move to Engage Sevrath and attack.

The 4th is hanging back.
