You can use it if Bull doesn't kill them first, they do get the first move and if they attack Bull he's gonna fight back.

Honestly I can't remember what failing a fear check actually does, I think it's a Setback on all checks, but is there a Strain cost as well?
Either way they will still attack this round, Bull has no defence but is there anything else he can do?
Let me see if I can find it I think they may be frozen in fear. But it'd be best to check.
How far away am I from the beast, Medium range (considering that I worked under ESMLE, and, as far as I understand, Bull was trying to follow me)? Can I make the Knowledge (Xenology) check, as per my earlier question?

For simplicity I'll say these are in a different location to where you where but still close enough to be visible. From Medium range you can clearly see they are 2 more Vrblther slashing at Bull.

I'd also like to attack back, unless a terrify check could freeze all of them.
I hope that Bull is going to leave at least one vrblther standing, as it is probably going to be too boring for the crowd to see the beasts go down this easily, assuming that Richardbuxton is not leaving any beasts hidden (although, I recall that a bigger beast was mentioned in the initiative roll).
Is this a single-round event?
Bull will please the crowd when he manages to out Savage the beasts and spook em, plus unless my staff hits obscenely hard it has a base damage of 8 and has to go through soak.
