You're not. Its speculation for the most part.
Although what happened to Skerris was part of the last Episode.
it isn't back yet. we're discussing the events of the last episodes prior to the break, and speculating on what those might mean for when it comes back.
oh yeah vult skerris a dead spacer

Or with the Ewoks' great Golden Sky Person?
So I don't know if this has been mentioned, I'm afraid to search the topic too deep as I only just got the season 3 DVD for christmas...
Anyway, I watched the "Rebels Recon" after the Secret Cargo episode, and they are playing X-Wing in it! Can also see some minis behind Andi in one shot and Pablo is holding the Ghost and has some Armada models in his bit. So cool! Official recognition!
I thought the same thing!
So a german star wars site appears to have the episode titles and descriptions for the first two episodes when the show returns at the end of February.
Possibly massive spoilers below: (actually major if true, you've been warned)
First episode is titled "Jedi Night", description is "The Ghost Crew infiltrates the Imperial headquarters on Lothal to save one of their own."
Second episode is titled "Dume", description is "Reeling from a devastating loss, the Ghost crew rallies together to find a new purpose and resolve."
So if this is legit, and TFN seems to think it is, looks likely that Kanan dies somewhere between the end of the 1st and 2nd episodes.
MakingStarwars.net picked that up too. Without getting into what those descriptions could mean, I notice it's back on Saturday nights again, which makes me happy for some reason.
The episode premiering on February 24 is the 10th episode of the season and is entitled "Jedi Night."
On March 3, episode 11 is called "DUME."
I love Kanan but he's definitely way overdue a massive act of heroic self-sacrifice. I thought he was going to bite it at the end of Season 3. Could definitely see him laying down his life to rescue Hera.
On one hand I hate it when shows up the stakes by simply killing of characters, but it could be done in a narratively satisfying way with Kanan and the bloodlessness of season 4 so far has robbed it of some weight. It would have been dark but I definitely think Sabine's mother and brother should have bit the dust, it felt like they wussed out of that one at the last minute (again, it wouldn't be arbitrary, it would have narrative weight. It would also make Sabine's ultimate destruction of the weapon make more sense. Sure, it could kill Imperials but on some level she's going to be deeply uncomfortable deploying a weapon that killed her own kin.)
I'm not out for blood, and I hate it when writer's lazily raise the stakes by drawing straws and killing people off at random (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and Serenity have a lot to answer for), but equally I think the sheer amount of plot armour is starting to defang the show.
I should add, this is all a *minor* gripe (despite me having just banged on about it for three paragraphs). I still like the show a lot.

I feel the same way. I think Disney has been real strict on death in Rebels, or at the very least how it's shown. Sato dies in the explosion of his ship ramming another, the Grand Inquisitor falls into a fire, and Ahsoka behind closed doors. Literally. Even stormtroopers seem to get stunned/knocked out more often than they are shot.
Kanan makes the most sense to die, given that Hera was captured prior to the break and him doing a heroic sacrifice thing would fit. It would also give a few episodes of how the rest of the team handles it, especially Hera and Ezra. I'm a fan of Kanan as well, but given the time-line, it makes most sense for him to go.
To your point of Sabine's mother and brother dying being "dark," that's exactly why it should have happened. I believe it was Filoni who said Season 4 would be the darkest one, and so far it hasn't lived up to that statement. The end of episode 1 had a chance at setting the tone thinking Ursa and Tristan were dead, but then episode 2 comes around like, "JK we're fine." At least one of them dying would've given gravity to the situation and given Sabine some depth/development.
So okay, this might sound weird, but do we have any more than these two next episodes to expect? I don't actually know how long Season 4 is supposed to be.

They've had X-Wing minis in a lot of the Rebels Recon episodes. Look at Andi's desk behind her at the end of each episode when she shows the clip for next week's episode. There are several ships sitting there.

Wookiepedia has it down as 16 episodes, so we're over halfway through if that's correct

And then, they decide to kill Zeb/Sabine instead of Kanan
Nah, its Kanan.
Awhile back we were watching and they keep having Kanan try to get Hera to commit to getting out of the war to they can start a life together, and then they finally kissed. My fiance said, "Whelp, Kanan's going to die."
Being that General Syndulla and the Ghost is still fighting at the time of Rogue One , its not going to be her that checks out.

Agreed. Wife said “there is the kiss of death”
Well what do we know?
We know that Hera, Chopper, Rex, and the Ghost survive to past the Battle of Endor.
Battlefront II is poor evidence towards plot points but:
1) We know at least Zeb's species is still present in the year leading up to the Battle of Jakku. We can infer the line was a direct reference to Zeb but that's easily retconned given that his species is still very much alive.
2) Lothal has some pleasant spots left to visit since one of the Inferno squad members exclaims he wishes to return one day when the war is over. Easily retconned since the strip-mining of Lothal could have been covered up and quarantined just like Geonosis due to its connection to the Death Star project.
So whose gonna die?
Sabine - Her arc is done but I doubt they kill her off since Lucasfilm's direction seems to be perpetuating strong female characters. There's nothing wrong with that in the slightest and i'm all for more female characters. While such characters have died in video games and books, Sabine is a favorite amongst this show's target audience, young girls.
Zeb
- His arc is also done, so he's entirely expendable (sorry Zeb
)
Kanan - Most evidence, especially with an episode called Dume following the episode a protagonist dies, points to Kanan dying. Kanan is also the only character who is a true Jedi.
As is Jedi tradition, the master must die for the padawan to move forward, recent canon only confirmed that.
Ezra - I'm not certain he is going to die. It depends on whether he's a jedi or not. I don't think he should live, as he contributes nothing to the story as the Last Jedi has established whereas Hera and others could return in episode 9 as outer-rim allies.

I don't think they would show up in Episode 9, but if Filoni is being moved on over to work on a ST era animated show, considering how much Disney wants to push the new era. then you know he would want Rebels characters getting to show up at least as cameos or in an episode or two much like how Clone Wars characters did in Rebels. This is just speculation but with him getting the promotion and the ending of Rebels I would hope that we are getting another Star Wars animated show aside from Forces of Destiny.

Wait was this said anywhere I WOULD BE SO HYPED

If you read my post fully I say it is just speculation, but he was promoted to the head of animation some time ago, and well the only Star Wars animated projects at the moment are Rebels, Forces of Destiny, and possibly Freemakers. That said I think Freemakers might be over and regardless was likely not done in house, so that would mean that you have someone who is supposed to manage animation projects but you really only have one at the moment since Rebels is obviously ending. Besides, with how the ST has been handled so far with getting rid of OT characters, how the Disney parks are getting a land with ST troopers and everything I get the feeling Disney/Lucasfilm wants to push the ST era so it would make sense that they would have a ST era animated show. Truth be told, at this point I don't have much hope for the ST though if anyone could make me care it would be Filoni, I hated Anakin in the PT until I watched the Clone Wars.

IF they do an 'ST era' show...I really, REALLY hope they try to fill in the otherwise-confusing events in the 30 year gap. I mean, I've read enough of the books and such to get a sense of what was supposedly happening...but it all still feels so vague, and so many questions remain, and it's such a freaking MASSIVE gap... not even the span of time between the prequels and original trilogy was as long. (And, maybe-tellingly?, that was the period that the 'Rebels' series ended up being set in. So here we have another massive gap in time between movies, with a bored team that is particularly experienced in filling in 'massive gaps in time between movies'...)

I hope for the same but here is the thing that span of time is a bit odd. We have a whole bunch happening after endor for a year and then the empire signs a peace agreement with the New Republic for some reason, and makes it so there would be no main antagonists afterwards. Then after that period we have a whole bunch of ineptitude and peace until we get around to Bloodlines with the Resistance forming in 28 ABY with TFA taking place in 34 ABY. They could set the show during that period but I would think all engagements would have to be kept relatively small since they can't bring any concrete evidence of the First Order to the New Republic to prove they were any kind of actual threat.
So if they set it after Endor it would need to be a short series or one that has multiple seasons taking place over a year. They can set it during the period between peace and the formation of the Resistance which mostly means fighting pirates with not real main antagonist. They can set it prior to TFA but while they gain a main antagonist they are a bit limited. If they set it after TLJ they could possibly do some more stuff, especially considering there would likely need to be some lead time so it could end up being premiered the year that we get Episode 9 to help promote it and the film. Hopefully Episode 9 has a timeskip from TLJ so the whole trilogy doesn't take place over a single in universe year.
