STAR WARS: REBELS Discussion Thread!

Yup. Though he tends to keep his murder attempts to Ezra...

Watched it again and my main take away (apart from Flying Monkeys) was that it went from:

Ezra; Kanan, TRUST me, I believe in him

To

Ezra: Kanan, TRUST me, that's a pot hole and you will trip up.

Glad trusting Ezra's gut only left Kanan blind...

Eye guess you could Say Kanan didn't see it coming until it was to late!

The way I see it is the explosion blasts the heck out of both Vader and Ashoka. Most likely they are separated in the fight and the whole place could've collapsed a bit. They both are wounded and don't want to risk it further. Most likely they couldn't immediately see each other. They wander away instead of trying to find the other. That's more of a draw.

Exactly my interpretation as well.

The giant explosion leaves them separated and injured and they both simply leave.

Yes it is still canon.

It's not.

Yes it is still canon.

It's not.

Exactly. Its canon until contradicted and everything after EPVI has been contradicted by TFA and other sources. Darth Caedus also makes no sense since thats the title of a Sith, which Kylo Ren is not. The Sith order has been destroyed and not magicaly returned to life like in the old EU, it is gone.

Guys, his idea of what canon means is not the reality. To him, if it is officially licensed, it is canon.

That kind of is a funny way to put it when talking about fiction :P

Yeah, leaving a proffessed non-Jedi in a Sith temple just seems like a bad idea. Spending a significant amount of time in a Sith Temple is just a bad idea...

Unless you're a ghost and can't leave. You know, because of all the haunting you have to do.

Thats still not conducive to a healthy psyche. Theres a reason all the ghosts in those temples are so cranky.

Good ratings for Season 2 finale .

Maybe, it'll lead to a long run for the show.

Although, it does seem like Disney wants to do something during the First Order/Resistance timeline.

There is no reason they can't do both. They have comics running that take place across all three eras.

And that's the other possibility, but the way it was done makes that way more unlikely.

Star wars has ghosts. Most are glowy or shadowy or otherwise clearly ghost-y.

Ahsoka was none of those things.

Although, it does seem like Disney wants to do something during the First Order/Resistance timeline.

Just curious, what makes you say that?

That's why they exist, it doesn't explain what lead Patox to surmise they have interest in the FO/Resistance. I would personally love it if they did, was just curious what lead him to think that.

So when can we expect the next season for Rebels?

A year after the least one started?

I'm not sure they'd do it before Rebels ended but there's not much reason for them not to do something similar with the new trilogy.

You're right. She must be a worm zombie, then.

Moved too gracefully.

Look, I'd like to see undead jedi even more than I'd like to curry the neighbors cat. But we gotta face it, she's alive.

But I'll bet we get a Season 3 trailer in July at Star Wars Celebration.

I saw a nondestinct shimmer in a door from far away. It could've been Sigmund Freud, your uncle Murray, anybody. Couldn't have been Mary Sue Jedi....

That and the writers have confirmed that it's her...

So when can we expect the next season for Rebels?

Darth Vader getting his butt kick more... They plan on having him fight Maul... Vader has already beaten Maul before in other fights, and will beat Maul Killer, but here I have a feeling they will have Vader lose to Maul. They will also probably make it out that Maul wasn't taking the fight seriously while Vader was.

Somewhere they will have Vader lose because of his huge cape I suspect, kinda like what they did in one story with Grievous, although he was more inconvenienced rather than flat out losing in that part of the story.

But hay... We get more Maul story time... That makes up for what they have done to Vader.

Not really
