At the very least, modified TIE Fighters means a Title card, and not a new ship thankfully.
Next Most Wanted pack come with Title cards and Pilots for Scum TIEs?

Scum doesn't need a Tie Fighter. They already have a cheap filler ship.
I'd rather see a Syck fix than a scum Tie.
Every episode of Rebels I watch, I look eagerly for even a glimpse of any of the currently EU-only ships. I want them canonized, darn it!

Nobody NEEDS anything. People just want to play what they see in movies and TV.

There've been quite a few..! Keep your eyes out.

I do the same thing whebever a new episode or new canon novel or comic come out. What is really surprising to me is that some of the rarely mentioned Legends ships like the CC-7700 frigate have become canon while some of the common ones like the Strike Cruiser and Assault Frigates have not so far.

Given that the Techno Union was known for being innovative and developing new tech, perhaps this:
Techno-Union Enhanced (TIE Fighter Only)
This Fighter may be equipped with TWO modification upgrades, instead of the standard one.
so basically a version of the Royal Guard title for the interceptor. perhaps carry over the "must have a pilot skill higher than 4" bit too.
probably doesn't match up to the episode, but would be interesting, and open up some new build options.
Where is the notion that these TIEs are affiliated with the techno union coming from?

Ah. OK. The way it was presented sounded like people had gotten that somehow from the trailer.
Good. I kinda didn't want to have to buy another kind of Rebels TIE Fighter. If they're Scum, I won't have to.
Odd chose for the Rebels writers though. There's gotta be a million Scum ships they could have used instead of having stolen TIEs.
Who says they were stolen?
Yup, like those sneaky Japanese pilots flying them F-15s.
TIEs are one of the most ubiquitious ships in the SW universe, the EU is full of unimaginative kludges like the Uglies.
So if you have on demand (I only have Verizon so maybe not all cable companies have this) episodes are available up to 14 hours early.
I can say that this episode is bordering kid-friendly. You'll know when you see it.

If only there was a way to legaly watch it in Europe. I want to give you money Disney, but you aren't letting me!
Why are they attacking a Space Aquarium?
The treasure in the pirate's chest at the bottom is REAL.
So I think its odd that the rebels Protect Whales, and kill innocent Miners. That bothers me.
also, we get some explanation about the Yellow ties in the Rebels recon, but I don't like the answer.
Ive already stated how I feel about Tie fighter visabilty, I don't think the wings are a problem, becuase the viewport dosen't allow good peripheral vision anyway.
That's just what I think though.
They did point out on Rebels Recon, that this TIE Variant does great if it's moving straight ahead. I'm guessing it'll have a title or something that says if you did a straight maneuver, roll 1 extra die. If you didn't go straight, roll 1 less die.
I enjoyed this episode. Not great, but nice little character moments and good music.
Next episode looks great for Hera.
The wing modification seems kind of moot. Sure you have better visibility, but if you can't maneuver what good does it do?
Dear DarthEnderX
I'm sorry.
You were right.
I liked this week's episode. Kid friendly with the whole "protect the space whales" bit, but I think it was pretty well handled. Heck, I almost felt like I was watching an old episode of Star Trek (or TNG) for a few moments, which is never a bad thing.
Of course, all that kid friendliness...
... and then the leader of the mining operation is brutally eaten alive by space whales. Like, holy crap, that was some nightmare fuel stuff.
Rebels has taken some rightful flak a few times from it's "shying away" of folks actually getting killed. This episode didn't. Those Rodians on those TIEs? So dead. That guy that Ezra pitched off into a pit? Probably wasn't rescued by a whale. Seriously, Ezra straight up killed that dude. The mining guild's highest ranking guy there? Yup, whale chow.
A solid B episode in my book. It didn't do anything to further the major story at large, but it gave some nice characterizations, added some interesting creatures into the lore of the SW universe, and gave a nice little one-off side adventure for the whole crew. Shades of Star Trek and even Firefly ("Out of Gas", anyone?) here, and I'm not complaining.

I don't think it's quite fair to call the miners "innocent". They're in the pocket of the Empire, and they were more than happy to shoot the Ghost on sight. And when you're contracted out to work for an organization that runs the risk of conflict with a group of insurgents, you know the risk. They should've listened to their heart when taking on Imperial business, not their wallet.

Huh?
People getting beheaded, people getting kicked off catwalks into bottomless chasms, people committing SUICIDE!, people the heroes are supposed to rescue getting blown up, stormtroopers getting eaten by monsters.
I'd say Rebels has been every bit as graphic as Clone Wars was, and I was SHOCKED at some of the stuff CW got away with.
It was an industrial center under direct service of the empire.
They were legitimate targets.
