QuoteActually if you read what they say about Legends in individual interviews after the canon announcement you will see that Legends functions as secondary canon. Even one of the writers said it was all canon and that it would only be the fine details of those stories that might become non-canon. So if Farlander somehow didn't show up at Yavin, because what the Rebels writer said, and others, you just ignore that part of Farlanders lore, don't throw out the rest.
I think you're mixing that up with how Clone Wars's constant overwrites were meant to work. And I say meant to because they really didn't. The Essential Guide to Warfare made a good effort to retcon it into rough sense but TCW made a mess of things nonetheless.
The Disney canon, as they've made abundantly clear, is a clean slate starting with the then six films and TCW. While they source heavily from Legends (why wouldn't they? Premade material and fan service rolled into one easy package) It is common knowledge that Legends is not canonical in any way.
And as you're the only one claiming otherwise I'm going to have to challenge you for a citation.
