All I can say is that episode was amazing. The show definitely doesn't feel like its aimed for kids anymore.
I hate to say it but I like the fact that the Phantom got destroyed. For me it created a subtle feeling of sorrow as if we were losing a character (is that normal?)
I also love the mention of Jan Dodonna's cell, but it's too bad we won't be seeing those y-wings for a while.
I want my Mining Guild Faction. What's that middle ship?
Next Scum ship?
Anyway, great episode! Those nods to the Legends bring so much happiness to my heart.
That was an excellent start. Ezras flipflopping along the edge of the dark side is well done and gives him a depth that he lacked so far.
The episode was great! I loved how it showed that the bumbling admiral konstantine couldn't understand why they let the rebels go, it shows that the rebels were being chased by a rather incompetent person, now it's gonna get real for the lothal rebels
Next Scum ship?

Huh - interesting looking design. LOOKS like it might have been a contender for an Epic-scale ship, but...kinda on the small side, though, for that. 52 meters? Barely longer than a YV-666 (47 meters, canonically).
Might just be a new Scum ship, sure...
SWX58, that you?
This ship would fit the Scum well, with many scummy characters piloting it in TCW, slavers, bounty hunters, even Maul.
I just hope they won't shove the Mining Guild into S&V.

Ummmm...where else would the Mining Guild go? Sure as heck aren't Rebels or Imperials...
Plus, now that the Rebels have a TIE Fighter...
TIE Fighters for everyone!

The best answer is NOWHERE.
If this doesn't satisfy you, they can go to the Empire.
They are legal buisnessmen, not engaged in any shady deals that we know of, they arms exist to defend from Scum trying to steal their stuff. They are literally anti-S&V.
They cooperate closely with Sheev, tho, so if you love those memorable Mining Guild characters shown in the two episodes of Rebels, like Rodian #5 or my favoirute Rodian #3, and you absolutely have to fly them in this game, they could go with the Empire.
I'm down with them being scum though.
You can't my precious TIE Fighters to.... everyone.

TIE'S FOR EVERYONE!
Besides, it's not like a ton of Imperial lists these days use TIE Fighters.
Quickly slams bunker door shut.
Scum and Villainy are united in their one glorious pursuit: Profit!
All for one and a 50 percent cut for Hondo!
go back and watch that one episode with the whales they are almost textbook S&V.This ship would fit the Scum well, with many scummy characters piloting it in TCW, slavers, bounty hunters, even Maul.

TIE'S FOR EVERYONE!
They are a legal, independent company, they refine some sort of fuel in a remote place and got a contract from the Empire, suddenly (Rebel) Scum appear, they try to defend their life and their belongings, but they fail, Rebels steals their fuel, murder everyone and after all of that destroy their station with torpedoes, just in case some unarmed civilians where hiding there.
How does that make them Scum?
By definition of the 3 factions, you are either Imperial, Rebel or some independent trader/mercenary and, as you pointed out, they were clearly neither Imperial nor Rebel and had services for sale To the highest bidder, were unsavory characters and were willing to shoot first and ask questions and some indetermined amount of time later.
Sounds pretty Scummy to me

Fluff-wise, scum should have every ship. Those dirty pirates have learned how to steal y'know.
I'm only about half way through season two. It'll be a bit before I start season 3.

Super-solid premiere. Y-wing reintroduction gets me pumped about bombing runs on those walkers in Rogue One. Also our rebel vets chances for next week went up again!
Enjoyed the premiere. Really excited for the next episode.

I loved Chopper's reaction when Sabine told him to get in the Y-Wing. It was "OH HELL NO!". Also Rex REALLY does not like droids he's fighting against.
