I noticed the Sheathipede-style shuttle the first time watching the trailer, but I overlooked this:
So is that thing replacing the Phantom? Obviously it's something smaller than a Sheathipede, since those are twice as long as the Phantom and wouldn't fit in the Ghost's docking area.
This PA comic pretty much sums up my feelings.
And inside a hangar bay where they meet Maul, it's a Protectorate Starfighter that's been repainted in very Maul-like colours. Could it be Maul's? After all, if you're going to tat up your whole face and body with a certain colour scheme, shouldn't your ride match up?:
That wouldn't be the first 2 seater A-wing in a Star Wars cartoon set a few years prior to ANH.
That dark color on the wings looks purple to me. Could it be Sabine's?
Also, what are they docked in/to? Whatever it is, it's huge!

We're gonna get about 11-12 episodes before Rogue One comes out. I wonder if that'll be the whole season, or they're doing a full 26 again?
I'd be very surprised if that were the whole season.

I doubt it. Rogue One wont affect Rebels' season length, even if it causes a hiatus.

Amazon told me that Wave 7 would release in august last year.... it lied, oh how it lied... I wouldn't trust their shipping estimate until you can buy the product.

Hopefully 26, and we won't have to watch the rest of the episodes in reduced rendering or story board art. (which don't get me wrong, that was really cool they released those for clone wars, but I really want them to finish the series this time. Assuming this is the final season and they really are going to do Battle of jakku time era stuff.)
I vaguely remember an interview with Filoni saying that season 3 is not the last one.
There is also the comment about the possibility of Ahsoka showing up in Rebels at some point, but we know she's not in Season 3.

Do you have Sky TV? I noticed last night (and downloaded the lot) that season 2 is available to download on demand if you have Sky Cinema.

Unfortunately not...had sky years ago, but these days slow broadband means I still prefer DVD's...oh well, patience is a virtue & all that
I'm thrilled about season 3 of Rebels, it looks to be a classic among Star Wars animation, with the introduction of Thrawn, Wedge, and potential material that elaborates on the KOTOR era of of canon. It's all looking splendid. I also believe the Ghost is getting a refitted Phantom, there's a new Phantom lego set that has leaked, and it would appear to match with screens from the trailer.
And with the YT-2400, I honestly don't see how it could be a more exciting time to be a fan.

Do you have any links about the lego Phantom leak? I've only seen the Rogue One sets.
