The first storyline the trailer tells us about is breaking a few pilots out of an Imperial academy. What I assume is the academy:

Note a TIE/ln hanging on a rail instead of sitting on the ground on its panels. That's how it was in Legends and we've seen it in Season 2 inside the Quasarfire-class carrier. And that's how it should be, glad the creators of this show see it!

Then they rescue Hondo (give this guy a cape, he looks bad without it ), who gives them intel about some station which looks like a stripped-down Trade Federation Lucrehulk core with a dock attached to its side:

Is it like a recycling place for old starships? Those Y-wings look like they are going to be melted.
Also, freaking Y-wings!!!

Better look at the Y-wing:

It's most likely a two-seater and looks old, it's not just a stripped down Clone Wars BTL-B, cockpitis the same but the engines are different and the turret, while in raised position, like in BTL-B, is unmanned. Maybe that's how new canon BTL-S3 looks, the old one was much more similar ot one-man BTL-A4.

I'm probably more excited that I should be for governor Pryce, but she, and her not being on Lothal for a long time is somehow connected to the Base Delta Zero... hey, remember Base Delta Zero?! It was namedropped a few times in Season 1 and we are still waiting for a nice little systematic complete destruction of all 'assets' of production, including factories, arable land, mines, fisheries, and all sentient beings and droids...

She looks like that Ukrainian chick from Indiana Jones 4.

And inside a hangar bay where they meet Maul, it's a Protectorate Starfighter that's been repainted in very Maul-like colours. Could it be Maul's? After all, if you're going to tat up your whole face and body with a certain colour scheme, shouldn't your ride match up?:

I'm really happy that they've included Thrawn. Great way to implement the old EU into the new canon.

Edit: and as eMeM pointed out, Kanan and Ezra are really reflecting the Rahm and Galen character traits from The Force Unleashed. Whether that's intentional or not, still a great way to nod to the EU.

Seeing paused and in scale, that looks like a Gauntlet, not a Fang. So probably a remnant of his forces from the Clone Wars.

If that's a two seat variant, that rear seat is awfully cramped. I think those are just windows to improve the pilot's visibility to the rear.

It's a two seater, it was in the first clip the've shown, Ezra and Kanan arrived in it to Maul's base.

EDIT A-wing's cockpit is very roomy, just look at X-wing miniatures of As compared to Xes or Ys.

The YT-2400 is in the later versions of ANH as well, in that case it is even the outrider itself to be precise.

Really? I though he was in the Academy together with a few others of red / rogue squadron, all students of Fel who got into trouble when they deflected and took their training mothership with them.

I'm really happy that they've included Thrawn. Great way to implement the old EU into the new canon.

The reflections of Force Unleashed are hard to imagine as accidental; in addition to the Kanan/Ezra to Kota/Starkiller parallels, we also have our pilots. Force Unleashed gave us Juno, and Rebels gives us Hera. Same goddess as referred to variously by Rome and Greece.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's the Gauntlet, Pre Vizla's personal transport . After all, Maul took Vizla's sword after killing him, it makes sense that he'd also take his ship.
