STAR WARS: REBELS Discussion Thread!

By KCDodger, in X-Wing

Longer then that since it's a two parter

I meant the days waiting are going to be long.
Same here. We have to wait two long days for the first part that will probably leave us on a cliff hanger. Then a really long seven days to see what happens.

IMDB also lists both part as airing on 3/30.

Seems the show is following the Supernatural style of storytelling. One or two funny episodes just before the season ending, then it's the barbwire wrapped baseball bat round the head!

I never thought I'd see the day where rebels was compared to supernatural...

Does anoyone else really want to see a Raider corvette or Decimator show up in the show? would be so epic!

The Raider? Yes! Absolutely! That would be great.

Also please show how it docks and lands.

Raiders land on its tail, like in the old serials with the rockets with tail fins.

And more importantly, where the toilets are. All of these starships we've been seeing have closets, but no toilets or showers.

NO WONDER ZEB SMELLS.

Edit

Nevermind :P

Edit 2

I'm afraid ARGHKITTENS covers Raider's role in the show.

So, what are we calling the star wars-ized rock music? In the vane of Jizz music(no, really), I propose Sp--gerock. (This is mild next to some of my original thoughts but really... Jizz music?)

Both part are on Wednesday night as a one-hour finale. At least according to my DVR settings. Also fits with articles I have read about it showing as a one hour slot.

My apologies. The last time I looked into it I remember seeing it listed as separate days.

More than likely, the "closet" also doubles as a shower/bathroom/vanity combo. Can't let space go to waste!

Nah, the Raider is the size of the CR90. There really isn't an Imperial ship we've seen that is that small (yet).

The ARGHKITTENS is the size of a Nebulon-B, and fits the role in the Imperial Navy more of an escort frigate (which, again...Nebulon-B).

I sort of doubt we'll canonically see anything as small as a corvette in the Imperial Navy, honestly, because it sort of doesn't fit their organizational structure (that we've seen). Problems "that small" seem to be left to the local systems fielding squadrons of TIE Fighters.

Well, the Raider was made specifically to kill starfighters. So once the rebel fighters become anything more than fun target practice that can scream if you shoot them hard enough, with a fun explosive pop at the end, then maybe we'll see the Raider corvette.

Perhaps even, when B-Wings come into the fray, and maybe even when we start seeing X-Wings (which we most certainly will.)

Hey guys. How do you watch Rebels if you don't... have TV?

arrrr

Because Disney doesn't understand digital distribution. I would love to pay them, but there is no way to legaly watch Rebels online outside of the US.

So basically. I can't. Amazing. Someone tell me how good the season 2 finale will be tomrw.

Man...it too bad there aren't ways for someone with access to the internet to watch whatever they want...

There's not though.

It's available episode by episode on iTunes in the UK.

If you have a subscription to a cable or satellite service such as DirectTV then you can stream Disney XD. We use Roku, but a friend of our streams directly from the Disney XD web site.

[Edit but they removed last season episodes :( . Clone Wars is not Netflix, hoping Rebels gets there soon.

Awesome! Now the only question is why I couldn't find that anywhere on the Rebels website. I guess my pirates life is over :D

Guys, I am simultaneously super excited for the episode tonight and extremely dreading the episode tonight, because once it's done there will be no more Star Wars TV for me to consume for a long, long time....

I'm auditioning to be in a fan film this weekend, and am currently nothing short of utterly giddy.

I'll watch the ep with my son tomorrow. Excited to do so.

^good luck!

Thanks bud. Super-excited.
