Also earlier in the show we see two little owl birdie things. At the end, when the 'dark side' music is kicking in, you see only one... WHAT DOES IT MEAN

It means it really takes more than one owl to reach the center of a tootsieroll pop. The one they were using in the new Comercial cracked it beak trying to get to the center, so they called in a alternate.

Phoenix Squadron is probably the biggest pool of death meat since red shirts. They just die like nobody's business.

Did anyone notice that in addition to never, ever wondering about Dicer, the Rebellion ABANDONED A PERFECTLY GOOD A-WING. The Ghost, a bigass cargo hauler, could've scooped it up with its cargo magnet thing, but nope, we left it to the spiders as a peace gesture of something.

Also, if I were the Rebellion, I'd corral a bunch of spiders and drop them on the nearest Imp base. The Ghost's blasters couldn't even hurt them.

One of the owls was Palpatine's familiar. Either that or the life cycle of the dominant life form on that planet goes Cute Shell Rodents-->Spider Monsters-->Sith Owls.

I liked the foreshadowing to a Kanan vs Ezra fight in the beginning when they were sparring.

Ezras fall is going to be spectacular when it happens. I think it is a likely thing to happen. However that scene could also imply that it is Kanan who falls to the dark side, not Ezra. It is really unlikely given the mid season trailer, but that could be intentional. Imagine how amazing that would be!

Didn't see the comments from the makers. But there are definitely dark side creatures (or at least, creatures with affinity to the dark side).

See I agree with you there about the genetics thing- there isn't much reason a Twi'lek and Human should honestly be able to procreate.

And I always kind of took Ezra as a sort of solution to the potential kid problem.

If Kanan fell I'd be surprised. Doubt it'll happen though.

What I'm wondering is if Ezra falls, will it be permanent or temporary? Will he go full blown darkside, or just dabble in it? We he become a grey like Ahsoka? Will Darth Maul be grey? Will Darth Maul become light side? Will Ahsoka fight Darth Vader for real or will it be some sort of lame mental battle or flashback illusion type thing? Does Maul still have the darksaber, or any cool weaponry?

And if Maul doesn't have the darksaber,,,,, who does? Could Sabine get her hands on it? Oh man that would be wicked!

I would love to see a bit of a darkness in Rebels. Seeing Ezra or Kanan fall to the dark side would be awesome. Think of the plot lines this to take us to.

I'd rather see him rationalize his devotion to the Empire more, rather than defect. Not every villain needs to be redeemable.

Yea would be nice to see the "good side" of the Empire. I doubt the Empire will be anything but evil in a kid's show though.

What I really want to know: What song was Zeb listening to on his radio thing? Cause it almost threw me off, I heard obvious guitar in it

I am admittedly a mild fan of Rebels, but this last episode was fantastic. Showed good emotion for the characters, and it was not whiny, annoying or overly pouty even when it easily could have been. The light saber training and the
"since when are you my enemy?" line was fantastic, and the lack of a direct reply from Kanan really made you feel the uncertainty Kanan is feeling about Ezra. The uneasiness between Kanan and Ezra was extended in the force push of Sabine where they over shot their target, showing that something is keeping them from being in tune with one another, even in critical situations,.

Ezra's attempts to connect with the spiders, which seem to be a sort of "dark" aligned creature, was interesting and made the viewer think and contemplate his future further. I'm no Star Wars super fanboy, so I'm interested if there are Jedi/Sith who have specialized in connections with creatures in canon or legends.

Hera and Kanan's connection felt real as well. They were adults about having to be separated and showed their feelings in a real, palpable way.

A quip though. Does anyone have a body count on how many A-wings have died now? I'm not saying that there shouldn't be any casualties, because there should be, but it's getting to the point that anytime there are A-wings, My first thought is "How many are we going to see explode this episode?". And not only is it the pilots getting shot down in space, now its pilots just dying whenever they need to show that something is a real threat. It was particularly annoying that they went looking for the pilot and Rex, but once they found Rex, it was "Hiddy Ho! We found our main plot piece! Let's go!", and they didn't even seem to care that the pilot was nowhere to be found... Anyways, I hope they have some sort of story arc where the pilots get better training from a pilot we may know from other Star Wars lore so we don't just watch no-name generic A-wing pilots explode over and over.
