I'm worse. In casual conversations I tend to refer to Luke and Anakin as just "Skywalker." Often jumping back and forth between the two as topics.

Saw last nights episode, The Forgotten Droid. For the first 20 minutes I was bored, another 'droids' episode. Found myself hitting the skip-forward button on the remote during chopper's and the imperials droids monologues. I then was wowed at the last of the show. Coming out of hyper drive to Yavin was way cool. (Almost like Battle star Galatia showing up near earth.)

What makes you think that was Yavin?

Edit: Ok, so it's not Yavin. It looks like that will be found by another rebel cell.

It has a very high chance-

It's clearly not Yavin. I thought that it might be Dantooine, but according to the episode guide:

http://www.starwars.com/tv-shows/star-wars-rebels/the-forgotten-droid-trivia-gallery

the planet is called Atollon.

Huh. Well split me in two by vigorous coitus, they pulled a really fast one on us.

:)

But come on, how could it be Yavin, Yavin is green and has a huge red gas giant taking up half of the sky...

...Uh, actually...

Yavin is Hot Orange. Yavin IV is green with said gas giant.

The show writers have also already said that the Rebels cell is not part of the cell that took out the first Death Star. So it's unlikely that the Rebels cast will establish a base on Yavin.

Dantooine though, that's a real possibility.

If I remember correctly from reading Lost Stars, the rebels on Dantooine were the same ones that ended up on Yavin. There was an X-wing drawing on one of the walls. Now, of course these rebels could at some point start using X-wings, but they seem pretty comfortable using A-wings.

Better than I expected after all those TCW droid episodes.

I like the cargo ship, its ugly as hell just like it should be ;)

In this episode we witnessed another Imperial-0 class Star Destroyer in action, not well known member of Imperial-class family, very prevalent in the corner of the Galaxy in which Phoenix Group operates. The main difference between vessels of this class and Imperial-I and -II models is that it is unarmed. It shouldn't be viewed as a design flaw - the sheer presence of such a large vessel should dicourage any attempts to opose the will of the Emperor, and the lack of any bettlefield value is compensated by greatly reduced manufacture costs.

Source on this? I thought it'd be in the Rebels Recon, wasn't in there, and while it makes a certain kind of sense since the SD wasn't closing in, it also seems awfully penny-wise and pound-foolish to construct a warship spaceframe and not put guns on the **** thing.

I'd prefer to think that they were ordered to let the Rebels escape so they could be trapped at their new 'safe haven' and that's why the ISD captain wasn't closing.

I really like Choppers new friend, even though plot-wise he's c3po, I actually like him a lot more. He's really cool.

He's a different kind of sassy to C3PO, less whiny. I think he's great, looking forward to seeing how he interacts with the rest of the crew. I like how close their origins are as well, having been present on the same planet during the Clone Wars.

Also more competent. Since he's a military droid, and not a glorified butler.

I'm just making fun of the fact that despite our heroes constantly running into Star Destroyers we've seen said SDs opening fire ONCE in the entire series, and I'm not even sure it was a Star Destroyer because the bolt was red.

FYI, if you don't already, watch the Rebels Recon videos after each episode. They answer a lot of the questions and speculation I see popping up here from time to time. Really worth watching.

It seemed (to me) like they expected the Rebel Fleet to bolt as soon as they showed up and were surprised that they didn't. They had fed the rebels bad intel on a safe haven and hoped to catch them there unaware with a readied force. When the (Captain? Commander? I didn't catch his rank) realized that they couldn't jump yet, I think he saw a chance to look good by taking them out right there. The plan was probably for them to follow behind the Rebels to the trap.

Where are the interdictors? Did they seriously only have one??

Yes, it was a prototype.

So I guess the last episode is this month, about how long 'till the whole season goes to DVD do you think?

Yes, it was a prototype.

There are others being tested in other parts of the galaxy at this point in time.

The Tarkin novel does feature an interdictor being tested and also takes place 5 years before a new hope.
