I have a question about the Shuttles in Rebels. Are those Lambdas? They body looks a bit bigger than the mini. Is it a type of Lambda? Troop transport type? Older type?
I'm sure someone on here would know and be the bigger geek than me. My son and I talk about it whenever we see it. It would be good to have an official answer.
Also, I have no problem with the wookies. How can you expect to draw a lot of big, fuzzy creatures for a small episode? You have to go stylistic to be able to get it done decently.

The magical hyperspace(at the fact that now the Ghost can apparently return there whenever it wants because it's "been there") feels pretty Deus Ex Machina to me, but I agree with the rest of that.
The idea made sense. Most Hyperspace travel in the SW universe is pretty much handled by a glorified GPS. The Hyperspace computers track where everything is, where they're moving and calculates routes between them. They went to a chunk of space that the computer didn't have information on by just driving off road. Once they got there the computer can figure out where they are well enough to get back. The only thing iffy about it is just that the route they took isn't really retraceable (though this is always true, the reason why here is a little more extreme).
Also, yeah, the music in this episode was the big MVP.
I loved how the mystical aspects got cranked up to 11 here.
The music certainly helped.
But god **** those tie fighters got the short end of it

They went to a certain place using a certain calculations or multiple smaller calculations and jumps. If they made it from point A to point B without hitting a mass shadow, black hole or blowing up, they would log the travel data, simplify it, and that would be a new Hyperspace route. So practically, Zeb's staff interfaced with the hyperdrive, gave it a route to go on, and the computer logged that route.
It's not really Deus Ex Machina, it's more... Deus Ex Save File As...
(I'm allowing the show to get away with an ancient staff interfacing with a Hyperdrive because in the Universe it seems one species came up with Hyperdrives a long time again and everyone agreed it was the best and moved on to other things.)
Speaking of two-parter, what happened to all the multi-episode arcs we were getting in the beginning of this season?
We really weren't getting that many. Siege of Lothal was the only true two-parter.
Anybody heard rumours about certain red eyed, art loving admiral appearing in the show? Any credibility to them?
It would be safer to send automated hyperspace probes than explorers, smugglers and pirates doing all the risky hyper jumps into the unknown. But then SW has a poor safety record. Hand rails people, use em!

It kinda DOESN'T make sense though, because the planet seemed to be surrounded by that imploded star cluster.
The gravity of planets is normally enough to pull a ship out of hyperspace. This thing had far more gravity than that, as we saw. Without whatever magic was allowing the ship to pass through the cluster, there should be no way for a ship to be able to maintain hyperspace through it.
They even maintain that if they hadn't dropped out of hyperspace, the cluster would have killed them. So it's not like just driving off road, it's like driving off road over lava.

But they DID hit a mass shadow. They just had a magic staff that allowed them to pass through it.

That doesn't seem like what happened because A. The Ghost never turned. It just flew straight, and B. The TIE Fighters following it were destroyed.
If the staff was simply showing them the safe path, then the ships following them should have been safe as well. The implication to me is that the staff was actually protecting them somehow.

No way. Lost Commanders and Relics of the Old Republic are clearly a single split up story.

Yeah with wookieepedia you can click canon/legends at the top of most articles to switch between. CANON is the pure canon non-BKL version. Legends is all EU.
