I guess we now have an official forum curse word. woppers.
STAR WARS: REBELS Discussion Thread!
Isn't it censored because it's an old word bigots used?
I guess we now have an official forum curse word. woppers.
Yeah, it is obvious they've had a filter for a while.
I've honestly never heard of that as a word before, curse word, bigoted word, whatever.
That's surprising, as my vocabulary is way above the average.
I guess we now have an official forum curse word. woppers.
That's ridiculous. Whoppers are ****ing delicious.
I've honestly never heard of that as a word before, curse word, bigoted word, whatever.
I read it in a few 50s-60s thrillers, usually used by jerks, to refer to Italians.
Huh. Good to know /entered into minds encyclopedia.
Whoppers are better than Big Macs, and anything wendys can do.
Yeah, *** is slang for a person of Italian heritage, it's usually said in conjunction with *** dego or *** DP, which means displaced person.

Edit: to keep this post on topic, what do you guys think our chances are of getting a Hammerhead cruiser with Heras Awing alt paint job? Good way to bring in the fringe characters like Rex and Ashoka.
Edited by ZoraTheHuttOk. So that's cleared up, and I suppose we can't copy recess and have our own rude words now.
Still think Bo-Katan pretty much has to be Sabines mom at this point.

Rook Kast looks a bit more Sabine-ish - dark hair rather than red-headed, and her eared helmet in the comic looks rather like a stylised version of Sabine's (hers has ears drawn on, rather than actual extended ears- but that could just be comic artistic licence).

Apparently Sabine inherited her helmet from somebody, rather than making it herself:

Trained from an early age in Mandalorian warrior culture, [8] Wren forged her distinctive armor with her family, [4] but also inherited her Nite Owls [9] helmet from someone whose identity she was reluctant to reveal. [8]
Edited by IronlordAlso i've been twitching because I have to say it. "Derision".

That just means Chopper is extremely racist.

I'd like the hammerhead but tbh I'd rather have it for Armada, than have two Rebel epics.
I don't know about with the hammerhead, which appears to be a tiny bit larger than the CR-90 (especially on the vertical side), but maybe in a pack with a Taylander shuttle, which would end up being the worst ship in the game. You could fit the other two phoenix squadron A-wings in that way.Yeah, *** is slang for a person of Italian heritage, it's usually said in conjunction with *** dego or *** DP, which means displaced person.

MPG: i think that even though its pretty "tall" with the sliding scalse FFG uses, they can shrink it a little bit without too many in universe alterations. I could definitely see this ship before a 2nd scum epic, assuming we get the 1st scum epic lol
Cpt Lackwit: With there only being 2 waves in Armada right now I think its a safe bet that we will see the Gozanti, Hammerhead, and the Mc80 Liberty cruiser soon, however, with all the possibilities that Rebels is giving us, why not have them in both games. We saw the other night that there is a new scum fighter that will make its way into the game, also the shadowcaster...even though its highly unlikely, i could see a whole Rebels wave once they establish new ships for all 3 factions, with the rumors of a new tie fighter, the yellow one from the trailer, we already have 3 ships for a whole wave.. the Shadowcaster, the yellow TIE, and the Mando fighter
So the forum now accounts for 60s swear words. I can't help but wonder does it also filter out Native American curses.

According to Dave Filloni in the last Rebels Recon, Sabine's mom was in the throne room when Darth Maul defeated Pre Vizla. So its a pretty safe bet that BoKatan is her mom. Her dad...I think it's Pre Vizla and he got BoKatan pregnant right before his death. That puts Sabine at like 16 or 17 tops. Seems about right as she a bit older than Ezra who is 15. I think they changed her name to Wren to hide her identity from Deathwatch haters.

Yeah, alright. That's fair.
I mean, I guess passing up the chance to have a big model of The Hammerhead Corvette on my part would be rather silly... But man, we gotta do somethin about those cargo racks its' got...

He said she was probably there, but yeah. Right on the nose- Sabine is 16.
Either that or she married someone with the surname wren.

Bo-Katan is red-headed, Viszla, if I remember rightly, blond. I recall a big point made way back when Rebels first came out - was that Sabine was a "person of color".

Edited by IronlordI think it's safe to say she dyed her natural hair color away.

Maybe they meant " person of color" in the sense that she loves color aka an artist. tone is what I'm going to believe, because I'm am so tired of the sad tendency of society to make everything a race issue. I find them even saying "person of color" racist and super annoying. Why can't we all describe people on their merits instead of their skin tone. I refuse to allow Star Wars to be tainted by racism of any kind.
Sorry, "Multiracial" was the term used:

As the last episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars find their way into the light of day, one era of televised Star Wars comes to a close and a new one dawns. The Clone Wars are over, the Empire has risen, and the dark times are upon us as Star Wars: Rebels prepares to premiere this fall. Slowly but surely, we’re learning what Rebels has to offer the Star Wars universe, including a cast of characters that appears as diverse in origin and personality as they are of ethnicity.
Google, Amazon and ITunes have decided to make the rest of session 2 into session 3 to invalidate our session 2 passes. Guess I'm done with the show for good.
Hrm. Yeah, I wondered why I wasn't seeing this episode in my season 2 pass.
That does strike me as a bit of a **** move, but still...if they are sticking with 11-ish episode seasons for $30 in HD, that's only $3 an episode, which...is a fair price for the show.
Not super happy with it, but it's not a ridiculous move to make.
