Edited by DariusAPBIn X-wing terms, we are getting Bombers and an Alliance escort carrier (or Quasar Fire-class bulk cruiser). I think I saw an Advanced being blown up, but it could've been a bomber, I guess.
I froze the frame on this scene, it's a bomber. I thought it was an adv at first too.
Wow. Wow. That was the definitition of awesome! Cham Syndula returning from Clone Wars, Ashoka and Vader and Anakin! Yoda! Jedi! Leia!
Basically, bring it on!
Seem to be forgetting
Maul
Not necessarily. Maul wasn't the only Zabrak you know.
My prediction:
Ashoka: Death by vader either this season or more likely season 3.
Rex: Lives, becomes gramps. in ROTJ.
Jedi Sentinels: KIA by Vader and inq
Maul: Turns to light side/grey side. KIA by Vader.
Kanan. Survives next two seasons at least along with Hera
Zeb. Double KIA with Kallus. Either as friends or kill each other.
Ezra.... I honestly can't guess.
Bananoffee: Makes an appearance, probably responsible for Luminara's arrest. KIA by Asohka.
Asajj Ventress: Has enough of this BS and buggers off. Grey. Survives.

With those face markings and Sith eyes? Also, very much voiced by Sam Witwer?
Is it just me, or did vader sound almost as bad as battlefront vader.
Well, as far as I know he's voiced by James Earl Jones, so he shouldn't sound any different (though his inflections aren't quite the same in the bits he has been in).
Sounded fine to be, but James Earl Jones has gotten some criticisms for how he sounded.
Holy moly. I can't explain half of what is going on in this preview. That is a good feeling! Who are those dudes in white? Who is the old master? Why does that beam look like Kylo's blade?

Dude.
It's been like forty years.

I know he sounds different, but he sounded okay at the start of this season.

This is true, under color enhancement, the marking pattern matches.
Old Master:
Is that a Quasar Fire?
Man, Phoenix Squadron SUCK.
How many A-wings down now.
A-wings. The PINNACLE of Space superiority starfighters with the only exceptions being Advanced and Defenders...
Toasted a couple times an episode.
You know forget it. Stormtroopers are doing alright, A-wing pilots need to step up their game.
Well, that's a bit exciting. Rebels really just continues to go from strength to strength. Can't wait to see how this all plays out across the season.
Asajj Ventress: Has enough of this BS and buggers off. Grey. Survives.
She didn't survive the Clone Wars.
Why doesn't Maul just die already?
Why doesn't Maul just die already?
because fans. they really should have just left him in the prequels... alive.
Asajj Ventress: Has enough of this BS and buggers off. Grey. Survives.
She didn't survive the Clone Wars.
****, when did I miss that???

my thoughts exactly, last I saw her (or remembered) she was in the courasant underground.
Star Wars: Dark Disciple, a novel based on one of the arcs for Clone Wars. Not entirely sure what the plans were for Maul, but he was still alive at the end of Son of Dathomir.
Is that part of the current canon? I was hoping Ventriss would show up in Rebels at some point.
I just checked. That's Canon, Ventress be dead.
Yeah, "Dark Disciple' is canon, based on two 4-part story arcs that would have been in Clone Wars seasons 6 or 7. Quick spoiler-y summary for those who want it:
After the Separatists destroy a peaceful race for refusing to join them, the Jedi decide that Dooku needs to die in order to end the war. Jedi master Quinlan Vos is tasked with the mission, but to get close to Dooku, he needs someone who knows him... Asajj Ventress.
Vos poses as a bounty hunter and gets into Ventress' (rather limited) good graces. The two eventually fall in love, and Ventress discovers Vos is a Jedi, and gradually teaches him about the Dark Side to give him the strength to kill Dooku.
They attempt the assassination and fail... and Vos is captured and becomes Dooku's new apprentice. Obi-Wan and Anakin are sent to retrieve or kill him, with Ventress' aid. They succeed... sort of. Vos returns to the light and Dooku blasts him with force lightning, which Ventress steps into the path of, sacrificing herself for Vos. The three Jedi escape, and the council honours Ventress for her selfless sacrifice.
It's quite a fitting end for Ventress, and a quite enjoyable book. It and 'Tarkin' are, I would say, the best of the new canon so far, alongside the Marvel ongoing series.
EDIT: I would have loved to see Ahsoka and Asajj fighting side by side against Darth Vader though...
