STAR WARS: REBELS Discussion Thread!
There is an upcoming comic detailing the siege of mandalore, so hopefully some of these questions will be laid to rest.
I sincerely hope Maul dies during the siege of Mandalore. Either that, or Maul has to be killed by Vader. I'd be happy with either, truthfully.

Maul's death needs to be a big moment whatever happens.
Secondary canon doesnt equal non-canon.
On top of that the "legends" exist in universe as well. So there rebs that belive starkillers family crest is also the symbol of the alliance.
Not the one that Rebels takes place in. Which is the one this thread is about.
So, once again, in the universe Rebels takes place in, there is no Marek family crest, because there is no Galen Marek. At least, not yet.
I am not leaving this topic. Infact i plan on coming in your topic every day now. Things were fine in your topic till tippy decided to attack me. You want to blame someone for causing trouble, look at your buddy.
Incorrect. Your post in that case gave the impression, I had nothing to do with what you typed.
You set nothing straight. You made it look as though i cut myself over platic. New people joining this website will believe your bs without question that i cut myself.
You best never follow me around these forums. Your bs is beyond old.
Alright, which is it? You are gonna be on the forum bitching at a guy, or guys best not do the same thing to you?
Not helping your case BKL.
Getting real tired of friends emo/goth sisters.
I read the post in question, the exact working was "don't cut yourself" It was implying that you were as emo as hell, but quite the opposite of saying "please, cut yourself".
I apologize for all the text blocks. editing out that **** is hard.

I liked it when Maul died in Ep 1. This bring-him-back-and-make-him-a-secondary-villain stuff; it's like reverse Worf effect: his survival makes him weaker.
He was was the Phantom Menace, his battle in the generator was epic, and his death (falling down a shaft, eyes glowing to the last) was Dante's Inferno -level visual symbolism; and now he's the villain of the week.
Obi-wan killed him once; he should do it again.
No. I was saying you had a victim complex that is befitting of a suburban raised white picket fence 14 year old girl who's never had friends outside of her cliques and knows nothing of the world.
I don't stalk anybody but Video Game Developer's sites for information. On that note I am excited for Fallout 4 tonight.
Now get out of my thread, you always cause trouble.

MOTHER OF GOD.
There is a magical place where secondary canon equates to non canon, and it's called range 1.
Darth Maul also Worf Effects Obi-Wan and Qui-Gonn Jinn. It's like, oh, teh emprah didn't die when he was chucked down that tower RIGHT INTO THE DEATH STAR II REACTOR or whatevs.
Effective villain power is something you have to conserve otherwise it's like COBRA talk shows to fundraise taking over the world.

I still use autoblasters.
I might be the only one, but against TIE Interceptors they work wonders.
Your bs is beyond old.
He said, without a trace of irony...
Like, literally, ARE you 12? 14?
I apologize for all the text blocks. editing out that **** is hard.
Isn't it?! It's certainly way harder than it should be. You should just be able to select stuff and delete it, but half the time when you do that, it does weird things to the formatting of the post and takes stuff you don't want to delete with it.

I turned off the advanced edit features a long time ago. It causes too many issues, and just use bb code like [.quote] and [./quote] without the . and the like. There's a little light switch like icon on the top left that lets you turn it off.
Secondary canon doesnt equal non-canon.
A. "secondary canon"(or S-canon) is a term that applied to the old Star Wars hierarchy of canon. That hierarchy isn't used anymore, and is no longer relevant. There is no "secondary canon" in Star Wars anymore. There is only Canon and Legends.B. When one of the continuities is literally named "Canon" then the other continuity is, by definition, non-canon.On top of that the "legends" exist in universe as well. So there rebs that belive starkillers family crest is also the symbol of the alliance.

BKL:
Honestly why do people even respond to him?
It's clear he's lost track of reality, and isn't using the same terms as us. The very concept of secondary canon is nonsense on it's face. The EU was never really Canon in the first place, it had it's own form of canon that applied to the EU, but the movies were always separate from it.
What Disney is doing is in pretty much every way better, because now there is one unified canon, instead of a bunch of only semi-related universes.
I don't know if it's intentional or not, but BKL has effectively become a troll and should be treated as such. He's not interested in discussion or debate, the only thing he does is stir things up and invites people to flame his posts.
I wonder if Rebels will resolve Jar Jar's fate...
I mean I kinda hope it doesn't as it'd be family friendly, and i'd like to see Jar Jar die messily - close combat with Kharn the Betrayer level messily. But still...
Page sixty nine. Shouldn't we be talking more about seventh sister here?
Also look up Jar Jar Sith lord theory. Very interesting and even more reason to love the character every one else hates
Honestly why do people even respond to him?
Why do people respond to him? Defense.
He tosses out a lot of accusations, and leaving them unaddressed is unpleasant to bear, regardless of whether or not they have any substance.
It's a commonly used logical fallacy, and a frustrating one because of it's mechanics:
1. The attacker makes a disparaging, yet unproven claim.
2. The target neglects to reply.
3. The attacker lauds the silence as evidence for his claim's weight; and usually follows up with boasts and mocking celebrating his "victory".
The fallacy forces the target to engage in conversation by attacking his honor: the target is left with the choice of re-entering the conflict, or suffering further slander.
It's like that argument that the villain has with the hero:
"I've set up my plan so that you will be the one to choose the victims, so now society will see their doom as your fault!
No. Not at all. But we've been trained to hate the hero if he doesn't assume the responsibility placed on him; and that's why these heroes keep getting sucked into the same trap again and again.
What we need to do is not blame people for responding, but to make it clear that we will not see our associates as any less for failing to reply. Remove the stigma of not replying, and it will become an option.
(Edit: And then there are people like me who find the whole thing jolly good fun, and a prime opportunity to get away with putting MOTHER OF GOD in all caps in the chat box. )

Geez really? Messily?
"Someone had to be the comic relief in that cast and it certainly wasn't going to be Liam Neeson."

He truly doesn't want the EU to not matter anymore. Which is a silly way to look at it. It doesn't have to be canon to matter. What really matters is if you like the stories or not. All this is made up anyway. The only difference is Disney is saying this made up stuff is the story we are telling now. The older stuff is not... Simple as that.
Yes, messily, a chainaxe is too neat for Jar Jar.
Seventh sister and 5th Brother....
One is probably gonna kill the other, because cartoon evil is stupid. They'll corner the rebels, and one will want the reward and prestigue. Just you watch.
Or you put him on ignore and deny him any attention at all.

But... do we have to?
The hatred was flowing like wine in Aspen; my Dark Side meter was almost full.

All right, fine.
( Still want to know why Jar-Jar must die. )
Honestly it's because of hate. Jar Jar is a scapegoat, and scapegoats must die.
Other good reasons: His actions, being manipulated or otherwise directly empowered Sidious and led to the forming of the new order.
Assuming the Empire didn't have him killed for knowing too much or Rebel Sympathising, or sympathising with the government of Naboo attempting to secede / shelter Jedi (I totally GM'ed that game hehehe Storm Commandos...) the New Republic would probably also have him executed.
More than that let's go back to my first comment. Jar Jar is a scapegoat, when people think of their prequel hate he figuratively embodies it. He needs to be the sacrificial calf.
Blood for the Blood god, skulls for the skull throne!

"And DariusAPB shall place lots upon the two gungans: one lot "For the Network," and the other lot, "For Azazel. (for absolute removal)"
..Yes. Azazel should take them.
They are probably just designations...
