STAR WARS: REBELS Discussion Thread!

Would it kill you guys to take your drama to PMs?

Be careful, BKL might think you're telling him to kill himself.

(And with that, I withdraw from that argument entirely. Except to say that BKL is still wrong about LFL deciding that Legends is anything but a wistful memory and free-idea box for New Canon. Now I'm done.)

Would it kill you guys to take your drama to PMs?

am

I go to these forums for a positive experience. I don't go to see people mocking others or accusing them of things they never said.

Legends is kinda grey canon. It exists in a fugue state of being a possible source and inspiration for nu-canon, but maybe completely opposed and overwritten by nu-canon.

Seriously, Tip, dude - no-one here actually thinks you want BKL to go kill himself, no need to worry about it mate.

Maybe, but if I can set the record straight while having an opportunity to expose fraudulence to the light of day, should I ignore it?

Which is why the **** report button exists.

I suppose not, but you've said your piece - at this point no-one cares. No-one believes the dude, it's safe to move on.

Anyone else hope for more Sabine? I still think she is Either Satines or Bo-Katan's daughter. More likely the latter.

Personally, I hope she's not the daughter of some pre-existing character, it's just makes the galaxy feel flipping tiny.

The trailer says she is Clan Wren, not Kryze. It is possible that she is Bo-Katan's daughter, it is highly unlikely. We know the Republic invaded Mandalor. We also know Sabine when to an Imperial Academy. I doubt Bo-katan would allow her daughter to go to a foreign invader's academy. Whoever raised her is probably okay with the Empire, which I really don't think Bo-katan would be. We will see.

I'd like more background on any of the characters frankly. We know that Kanaan was an apprentice and Ezra was an orphan. That's about it.

Your sources are out of date. The Empire controls a heck of alot more than just 1,000 sectors. I litterly went through and counted every sector or system named in a movie, comic, novel, or game that is controled by the Empire, and there a heck of alot more systems and sectors than have been written up and given a name or lore.

Do you have any proof of your claim? Because I just checked Wookieepedia and they only have around 700 sectors listed. And while the Empire certainly has far more then 1,000 systems each sector is a group of systems so the Empire having more then 1,000 systems does not prove that there are more then 1,000 Imperial sectors .

Plenty actually. For starters, the 700 sectors listed are the only sectors that have been named in the series, there a lot more than that. In a SW book, which if you want to know I will give you a reference in a pm. If you have the book I am talking about you'll also see all the named systems, and also the rough total systems in the SW galaxy. Its around 150 billion systems. Also if you count up all the total ships and the estimate for how many IMP NAVY crew members there 24,000 SD is very small, and the other craft that are not Battleships or SDD don't hold many people. Some like hold five people, system patrol craft specifically.

Also going by another book, sector forces for SD is between 24-80

It doesn't become the alliance symbol, the Star Killer family crest becomes the Alliance symbol.

The Starkiller family crest doesn't exist anymore, because Starkiller isn't canon anymore.

^I literally just searched half a dozen variations on "wrists" "slit" "cut", etc, and literally the only result was his post in this thread.

Not that I think you did this, but for the sake of argument, you COULD have said it, then edited it out later.

Going by what LFL has said about legends, they are secondary canon not non-canon.

I mean, it's pointless at this... point given he's been reported, so I guess we'll see what happens.

Don't hold your breath on hope that anything will happen, they "FGG" has known about the post for a long time.

Okay, now it's gone from being serious to ******* hilarious, I found the supposed post after more digging:

https://community.fantasyflightgames.com/topic/184893-empire-players-what-ships-would-you-like-to-see-in-a-aces-pack/page-6#entry1735278

Note that it's literally the exact opposite of what he claimed, because edgy 13/yo-esque posts are worrisome.

Yes really hilarious, I should be told not to slit my wrists over a TIE Punisher. What you said is no where near the exact opposite of what I said. You are giving people the impression that cut my wrists or any part of my body over a ******* miniature.

Ah, misunderstood context on his part and the victim card. Wonder what his tumblr URL is.

Why you want to know what my tumblr url is, you sound nose like jojo or darkstrike, in that they wanted to know just a little to much personal information about me. You plan on stalking me boy?

No. I was saying you had a victim complex that is befitting of a suburban raised white picket fence 14 year old girl who's never had friends outside of her cliques and knows nothing of the world.

I don't stalk anybody but Video Game Developer's sites for information. On that note I am excited for Fallout 4 tonight.

Now get out of my thread, you always cause trouble.

Well, we are going to be delving into the character's backstory this season. We have the Hera story next. And I think the Sabine's, with the new BH who is likely related to her, after that. Also going to be delving into what happened to Ezra's parents, probably the episodes that have Ahsoka fighting the new Inquisitors.

Maybe, but if I can set the record straight while having an opportunity to expose fraudulence to the light of day, should I ignore it?

I saw fraudulence but read flatulence.

Yes I'm 39 going on 12.

It exists in a fugue state of being a possible source and inspiration for nu-canon, but maybe completely opposed and overwritten by nu-canon.

Which is exactly the same thing that the EU was before the "change" George could, would and seemed to actually want to overwrite it at will. So it was never really canon in the first place.

As far as BKL goes... There is really no need to defend yourself against him. No one here takes anything he says seriously... In fact most of us give it the same weight we would doodoo flung against the window by a monkey.

Well, we are going to be delving into the character's backstory this season.

I'm looking forward to more details about the crew. :)

What? I thought she said Vizsla.

(Apparently Clan Wren of House Vizsla. And now I officially need something to explain the social structures of Mandalore. So is Clan Vizsla the senior Clan of House Vizsla?)

Also: I think "foreign invader" is a bit of a stretch. Mandalore was in the middle of a civil war and the planet all but asked the Republic to intervene.

I will, here, reiterate my belief that Mandalore could easily serve as a source of Mandalorian warriors for the Empire and that Mandalorians serve the Empire much as Gurkhas serve the British Crown.

You know what though? Even super-gadgetery space commandos with jetpacks and a warrior code just aren't badass compared to the Gurkhas.

Gurkhas have a warrior code and some big, f___in' knives. They don't need gadgets and jetpacks.

;)

Secondary canon IS non-canon. That's why canon is called Canon and the rest of the EU is called Legends.

Rebels is Canon, TFU is Legends. So, like I said, as far as Rebels and the movies are concerned, there is no Starkiller family crest.

Maybe, but if I can set the record straight while having an opportunity to expose fraudulence to the light of day, should I ignore it?

There's a difference between setting it straight, and spending 3 pages arguing about setting it straight. You proved you didn't do it, like, the 2nd post after it happened. And then went on to make 20 more posts about it.

I am not leaving this topic. Infact i plan on coming in your topic every day now. Things were fine in your topic till tippy decided to attack me. You want to blame someone for causing trouble, look at your buddy.

In a friends goth sister kinda way... ish

Secondary canon doesnt equal non-canon. People runing lfl and or the publishing of sw material have made it clear that their understanding of canon is diffrent than the fandoms, and their is a kernel of truth in all the legends stories. So in that way the will never be non-canon. On top of that the "legends" exist in universe as well. So there rebs that belive starkillers family crest is also the symbol of the alliance.

If you're referring to my post, that would suggest that FFG understands that your interpretation is blatantly wrong.

Incorrect. Your post in that case gave the impression, I had nothing to do with what you typed.

Get a grip, nobody would willingly stalk you, not with a persecution complex so inflated that squadrons of forum posters could have dogfights with whole wings of TIEs. [1] [1]STAR WARS: X-Wing: Wedge's Gamble p.143 [†]Just in case you weren't sure what citations were supposed to look like.

You set nothing straight. You made it look as though i cut myself over platic. New people joining this website will believe your bs without question that i cut myself.

You best never follow me around these forums. Your bs is beyond old.

I'm just thinking of her reaction to Maul when he took leadership. I somehow think that the Republic taking control would go over well with her, even if they defeated the Death Watch. I see some parallels between her and Cham Syndulla and Ryloth.
