Oicuun + Daredevil + EU + Dauntless ( I'm guessing that he's 42pts based on the other pilots)
Yorr + Gunner + FCS
BSP + Wingman
I think I would have a lot of fun flying this.

Edited by mrfroggiesAnyone notice that the Game Trade article mentions what the space debris obstacles do?
A new type of obstacle, debris clouds stress any ship that flies through them but don’t prevent overlapping ships from firing during the Combat phase.
I don't think we knew this before, did we? Now we just need to know how we'll go about using them — can one player use debris while the other player uses asteroids? Can one player use both debris and asteroids? Or do both players have to agree to use all asteroids or all debris?

The stress part was known. We still don't know how these will be used. All we can do now is guess.
wouldn't marek warrant a wary eye from this thing? his ability is killer on larger ships and this is getting about as large a target as it can get

"After a ship is destroyed, the player may place 1 debris cloud token in the position that ship occupied prior to destruction."
Would be pretty awesome.

Ah, I must have missed it or forgotten. Sorry.

With so many threads here it's easy to miss these things. ![]()
Captain Oicunn only have one thing to say: ''S*** it Biggs!''

I know it is theoretically possible to end up touching multiple ships with one maneuver, if everything is just right, but can anyone think of a way to reliably do so?
If you are in contact with more than one ship at the start of your maneuver and bump back to your original position you could get ram damage on more than one enemy. I guess this could be accomplished with standard movement control mechanics, including ion tokens, stress, and blocking with other ships. Throw in an APL and you could really dish out the damage if you set up your traffic jam right.

Deal damage when you bump AND when you get bumped. Then stress everything.

Anti-pursuit Lasers 2

Mara Jade 3
Not a bad way to spend 50 points ![]()
(* Speculating the cost based on the cost of the PS8 Pilot of 46 points, compared to the point scaling system on the YT-1300 – PS9 = 46, PS7 = 44, PS5 = 42)

Also of note, he damages friendly ships, too.
Only if they get in front of him. APL don't trigger on your ships.

Nor does Oicunn.
So, should we start a pool on how long it takes before someone posts a thread ranting on how these cards ruin the game?
Another thought:
Oicunn + Dauntless
Saboteur
Nice catch. Saboteur has never really found a home. Just wish he was better than a 50/50 chance to flip one over.
I was thinking navigator, Vader, gunner, but saboteur might be a good idea.
Now we really need to know the dial. If this thing is as fast as a Falcon it will be amazing.
Think I mentioned Saboteur on page one, thought it was a good fit..

Not sure they will, but maybe a lot of folks are coming back to X-Wing after being burned out on 'Attack Wing'..and in contrast...wow, no comparison.
These are, like, 'huh, interesting new way to play the game...I don't think I'll ever USE that, but...well, maybe...I dunno...definitely an intriguing option, though'
Vs what 'Attack Wing' does with the "HOLY CRAP MOST GAME-BREAKING POWER CREEP EVER - THAT'S WHAT I'LL FLY WITH FOREVER ON" with every single month's release.
Captain Oigunn looks like he'll be ver
Cool! Awesome! Source?
Game Trade Magazine, apparently.

Dauntless title Card + Engine Upgrade so that you can do a banked boost past an enemy ship and out of arc and then shoot them in the arse using your turret. ![]()
A few z95s with ion pulse missiles will shut it down and run it out of space. 0 agility makes it very unlikely the missiles will miss.

Each of those missiles only work once and only do 1 damage (out of 16 hits you need to land). I'll take odds that you'll run out of missiles before the Decimator runs out of space. And let's not forget that it still gets to shoot back while you're ionizing it.
Edited by DR4COOnly one z95 would be firing their missiles per turn, the others would be blasting the ship. Maybe something like:
Tala Squadron Pilot (13)
Ion Pulse Missiles (3)
Tala Squadron Pilot (13)
Ion Pulse Missiles (3)
Tala Squadron Pilot (13)
Ion Pulse Missiles (3)
Biggs Darklighter (25)
"Hobbie" Klivian (25)
R3-A2 (2)
Total: 100

How would you deal with the rest of his squad?

Depends on the dial and on the angle of attack, but... for instance if you ion a firespray within ~2 range increments of an edge it is facing, it's done. Falcons get a few more mm because of the hard 1.
If the Decimator's sharpest turn is it's green 2 bank, it potentially takes only a single ionization to steer it off the board from 3 range increments. Takes a couple turns to get there, but...
Basically, 2 IPMs will reliably remove a VT-49 from the board.*
*Unless.... (stuff)
Interestingly, you can rely on asteroids as a visual indicator of the danger zone for big bases.

Personally I am less excited for the VT as I am for its crew, Fleet Officer is gonna be awesome. I cant wait to run Vader+Outmaneuver+EU, Rexlar+Predator and a Omicron+Fleet Officer
