"I'M THE JUGGERNAUT B****!" says Oicunn to Whisper.....
Oicunn+Dauntless+Daredevil+APL+Gunner+Vader+Mara?+seismic
Oh look, a cloaked Whisper landed over there. I'll just hard turn into her (1st damage). Now I'll try Daredevil and fail to complete the move (2nd damage). Now whisper will be ramming (potential 3rd or even 4th damage), or will (most likely) decloak away. Then at PS4, Oicunn will shoot at whisper, most likely miss, use Vader (3rd or even 4th damage), gunner since he missed, then Vader again (for 4th and final damage). Plus you have a bomb if you feel like using it ![]()
There you have it, a ship that can literally roll literally all blanks on red dice and wipe out a full health super Phantom that is cloaked in a single turn. Expensive, but totally worth the look on your opponents face.

Saw someone on another board ask if the difference in wording -- "After executing a maneuver" on Oicunn and "After you execute an maneuver" on Dauntless -- means that Oicunn's ability is triggered by the enemy ship moving, or even by any ship moving.
*sigh*

Sigh, indeed.
I've said this before, but I feel like somehow we've ended up with a batch of rules lawyers* in this game that are so interested in carefully parsing every syllable that they forget that words, clauses, and sentences still have meaning.
(*It's not necessarily a bad thing to be a rules lawyer, IMO; I am one! But you have to remember to check your conclusions through the common-sense detector before you run them up the flagpole, to mix a metaphor.)

Its a difference between a rules attorney and a rules ambulance chaser.
Edit: nevermind
Edited by JFunkAm I missing something? I see talk of mounting an APL on this thing, but there isn't a modification slot......
There is no ship that has a modification icon in its upgrade bar. I'm assuming that's because they developed modifications after the early stuff was done and couldn't go back and change things. Too bad to because I think there would have been a lot of design potential in ships like the falcon if they could have included multiple modification slots.

Every ship in the game may equip a single modification.

Yup, apparently brain no work today.

I don't think it's inherently an unfair question - it should probably say "After you execute a maneuver" on both.
We do have a card which triggers when someone overlaps you (Anti-Pursuit Lasers). It has distinct wording, just as Dauntless does. I expect Oicunn triggers on your maneuver, but it's not outside the realm of possibility that they intended it to work for both and got lazy with the wording. It wouldn't exactly be the first time.
Pending word from FFG my default would be that it only applies to Oicunn's maneuvers, but it wouldn't shock me if it were ruled otherwise.
To be fair, the guy did say he assumed it meant Oicunn's maneuver, he was just curious about the different wording. But there are some people who won't accept common sense until it's been FAQ'ed.
Interesting Side Note:
Many ships/pilots in the game thus far only exist in the Expanded Universe, most exist in the original films AND the Expanded Universe, and some exist in both the original trilogy and the prequel trilogy.
According to some Wookieepedia reading on Captain Oicunn, he is the first character whose first and only canon appearance was in the prequel trilogy. He is in Revenge of the Sith for about 13 seconds, and there is a short story about him, but that's it. Interesting.
Depending on who you ask, this could be the most irritating change to the game, or the most hilarious one.
I'm definitely in the latter camp.
