Compiled Resources List

By Nate, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

Hi,

Is there an update the the excellent reference sheets than a fan had created for the beta ( http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/9077657/SW-EotE-Reference-Sheets.pdf ).

This last version was from 2012. I understand there are 1 page sheets for combat, but this particular resource had much more in it. It would be great to have one with the updated page number to the final book.

Thanks

I put together an updated version of Gribble's sheets to bring it up to date with the Core Rulebook:

https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B81dmvsSRmGHZ1NOMEU1ZzkzcWs

The formatting isn't perfect, but all the page numbers and statistics should be correct. Let me know if anyone finds an error.

Brilliant, I've been looking for this. Now we just need it updated to the AoR core book...

Hello folks!

Some links are down for the adventures "Bendu's Shadow/Stalitz Flight" (the 1st one) and "Echoes of the Past" (the two with the maps).

Can someone help me out and point me to working links? Thank you.

It's worth mentioning that all of those are up on my site - the old links are (as you've discovered) probably outdated.

I noticed the list was updated and my character generator wasn't included again :) The links are in my signature.

Castlecruncher, I've added "Dreamscape."

OggDude, I've added the links for your character generator. I wanted to make sure that was okay with the Powers That Be, and I haven't heard any objections.

Done.

Thanks. Not to nitpick or anything, but the links haven't been made into links :) There's nothing to click.

OggDude, I'm checking on those links. For some reason they don't format themselves like other web addresses do.

Also, I've added a link to a compilation of blog posts regarding Corellia in my Dropbox.

For those who have trouble visualizing vehicle combat, this may be useful:

http://archive.org/details/VisualizingVehicleCombat

I keep meaning to make a "visual range guide" where I take a picture and guesstimate ranges and color them in. Sadly, I can't graphics my way out of a wet paper sack with an automatic graphics machine, so....

I played with mid tones of the official character sheet for my game. Maybe it suits you ?

Any chance someone with the know how can make these form-fillable?

I've come up with two reference sheets to add to the pile:

Combat Reference sheet (PDF, 11×17, two pages)

This sheet is an encapsulation of all available personal and vehicle combat maneuvers and actions, as well as what to do with those Advantages, Triumphs, Threats and Despairs for both personal and vehicle combat.

Skills Reference sheet (PDF, 11×17, two pages)

This sheet contains a brief description of what each skill does (and what it is opposed by, if relevant), and what the rules suggest you do with Successes, Advantages, Triumphs, Threats and Despairs.
Additionally, there's these:
Personalized Character sheet (Word .docx, 8 ½ ×14, one page)
This is a personalized character sheet utilizing the EotE font found here ( https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/38611358/EotE_Symbol-Regular_v1.otf ). It isn't form-fillable because it's so pretty, but if you're savvy with Word you should be able to make your way through this, replace the pictures, rewrite the data and go to town. You'll probably have to make heavy use of the Selection Pane to grab all the various elements, but... this thing looks awesome. :) Just make sure to download it and install the EotE font rather than just view it in Google Docs; viewing it online doesn't display everything right.

This is a personalized group-level sheet, to track the group's vehicle, Obligations, Motivations, and contacts and gear. It manages to get everything together in one clean presentation, useful for both GMs and players. Again, please download it with the EotE font installed rather than just view it in Google Docs, as the translation simply won't do it justice.

The size on that is pretty hefty. Compressed (from within the PDF) it comes out to around 6.5MB with not much loss of fidelity.

If your groups are anything like my groups for roleplaying, then character creation takes a while and you usually only have one copy of the rulebook to go around. Because of this, I put together what became a 19 page pdf file that outlines character creation in specific enough detail that someone who has never played the game could make a character. In fact, the first time we played, I emailed this to the group and everyone came with characters made without having ever even seen the book.

The document is a combination of my paraphrasing the CRB and directly quoting it. I am posting the link here for anyone who wants to make use of it.

Character Generation PDF

The document also points people to the Talent Trees document provided courtesty of beggingforxp.com. And it would be helpful to have a character sheet such as Caied's Form-fillable PDF Character Sheet .

I hope this is helpful to you guys, and feel free to offer feedback on it.

The link to the character generation PDF is down. It's a great idea though.

I'll continue to update this list as people add/remind me of new material.

Can we add a link for all known equipment, ships, creatures, etc… from the various FFG books to the site at http://swrpg.viluppo.net/ ?

Thanks!

I apologize. I had removed everything from OneDrive and reuploaded it. I forgot that doing this would break the links to my OneDrive documents. Here is a new link to the Character Generation PDF .

Can you add my blog, please?

GM Knowledge Rhino's Session Logs

http://rhinospeaks.wordpress.com

I've added a bunch of the previously mentioned items, along with a couple of adventures from Verdantsf.

Could the links to my generator be made into actual links? It would be great if they could :) Thanks!
