Cover question

Let's say we have the following setup:
- on square A2 you have an impassible terrain tile
- on square B1 you have an anti tank trap

When you have a squad on A1 and on B2, can they shoot each other ?

When you have a squad on A1 and a walker on B2, can they shoot each other and does the squad have soft cover (from the impassible terrain tile)

No, they can`t - tank traps block LOS between infrantry units.

Yes and yes. Walkers are visible to infrantry 'over' tank traps and inf squad will have soft corner cover from the impassible terrain tile.

So there is no LOS when looking/shooting diagonally between 2 blocking objects ?

I attached an image of the situation:

Correct, 2 cover elements in conjoining, diagonal squares will block line of sight to troops between them. You could also extend that thought process to cover elements that are not necessarily directly touching eachother. For instance:

Building is on square A2

Tank trap is on square D3

Unit on square A1 would not be able to shoot at another unit on square D4, E5, or F6 because the 45-degree angle would pass between to cover elements on either sideā€¦if that makes sense?
