DT News and Articles from Front-Toward-Enemy.US

The bags look great, so good I just donated enough to get all 3.

One suggestion for a future fundraiser would be some cool card holder. I have a printed one on card stock from BBG but you seem like an inventive guy and I imagine you could come up with something pretty cool.
Good luck keeping the site going =)

For everyone thinking of begining a SSU army or for folks curious about what we think about many of the current SSU releases, we'll be running a video series all next week looking at the SSU for DT.

For a list of all the units we'll be covering take a look at the link below…

It all starts next Monday.

Nice article, though I fail to see how you can justify ever fielding the Devil's Own instead of the Patria Nostra (other than flavour). I absolutely hate it that the Commandos are just objectively worse than the Foreign Legion, for the same cost.

Well I had to write about both. : )

Yeah, I know… gui%C3%B1o.gif It's the corporate thing to do… If they'd only costed the Commandos ate 1 or 2 points less than the French, you could justify fielding them when your army list turns out to be one or two points too big.

I hope my axis opponent doesn't have a problem with me playing the British Commandos with the Foreign Legion stats.

Yeah, I agree.

The Commandos are sooooo much more cool looking than the Frenchies, too. corazon_roto.gif

This unit really makes me wonder what sort of math FFG uses to come up with Point Values, you think everything would have a set cost and then they just add it up. So, you'd think Assult would be worth more then Scout, but I guess not.

As for the look of the unit my wife love's the Forign Legion, I personally don't really care for either, but more on that next week we we do our video review.

On another note all in all I think the guys at FFG are doing a really good job, given how limited their resources can be when it comes to development.

And good luck fitting them inside a building in one of those half-floor tiles. Though I'm more worried about how I'll be able to paint them all bunched up like that.

They actually sit in the buildings quite well, although it can be tricky to manuver them inside, but we generally make all our buildings "doll house style" i.e. no back wall, it make moving in the buildings much easier.

As for fitting in a square with a Tank Trap, their base is about 10mm smaller then a vehicle, so they fit ok I guess.

Painting will not be fun they're very tightly packed on there.

Thanks to you both.

Good stuff. I suck at math, but like number-crunching and opping, so this is great to see.

Good job, it's nice to see new stuff beafore you decide to get it.
