Damnit. I'll try to fix it today when I get home. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Seems to work fine for me? Has anyone else faced similar problems?
Works fine for me.
Its working today. Thanks. I can't wait to read it.
I was just updating the Daily Empire when I happened to stumble upon the statistics. Now I know I haven't paid much attention to this blog (or WFRP of any edition for that matter) in quite some time, but it still got my interest. The hits for tDE have been quite good and steady throughout its history (can't believe it has been up about three years!) but this year seems to be suffering from a decline.
Now this post is not about fishing new hits. The Daily Empire will be up and running as long as I can keep it up. I update it regularly even though I might not post stuff. What this post IS about however is that in my opinion this might correlate to the interest in WFRP altogether. I might not be right in this as I'm quite accustomed to act on gut feeling. But seeing these forums are not as lively as they used to be either.
What do you think?
(Here are the stats for those who might be interested.)
When there is a license-purgatory, like we're seeing right now with FFG and GW, I believe that it is no surprise.
It makes me sad, but anything short of a mail-bomb campaign to FFG or GW to resurrect the WFRP line to mitigate the currently occurring permanent and irreparable harm being done to its marketshare and reputation with its non-production, we will continue to see decline.
Edited by EmirikolI have a player creating a character for the campaign we started at the beginning of this year and abandoned only after 1st session. Maybe, just maybe, The Daily Empire will see some new stuff if we get the game going.
I will have some stuff for the Daily Empire in a couple of days.
Hits on this forum have been dying for a while and has slowed down even more in the last week IMHO. Not surprising as WFRP is no longer supported by FFG. I suspect even if Liber Fanatica produces new stuff for 3rd edition WFRP the take up and interest will be much lower than before.
I am playing with my group so still have an interest in the game. Playing Thousand Thrones online with Fantasy Grounds. The older GM left playing WRPG.
But if you remember back to when Enemy Within came out the interest picked up for a bit then over the year with little to no content interest died to us hardliners.
Player made content is quite common when a product dies off. Look at Heroquest, for years people made their own content, I didnt know this until way after I lost my stuff. Even for Advanced Heroquest, I made my own rules for it to keep people interested.
Am not happy with the direction that GW has gone, theres no way without writing spoilers, to say how annoyed i am at the treatment of the dwarves.
Edited by DurakBlackaxeI am proud to be allowed to present Sami Uusitalo 's latest work at the Daily Empire . Go check it out, comment and praise the writer!
(It is currently for second edition only so if someone wants to convert it I'm certain Sami would not mind me hosting the conversion files also.)
We are getting back to Warhammer (2nd edition) this Summer! This naturally means that I've already started to work on something - namely the Bitter Moors that separate Wasteland from Couronne. I'll be posting WIP info at the Daily Empire and publish a separate PDF when I'm done.
Hope you guys are keeping track of what I come up with. I'm getting more and more excited while I write. It would really help me out to get some comments on the WIP writings.
Aaaaand here I'm hoping that you didn't get your hopes up. I totally forgot the whole Bitter Moors thing when I was introduced to Archipelago this summer. Heh...
BUT!
I'm still kicking a bit and introduced to "old" friendly competition; Solstice Onesheet challenge.

First time I've seen this blog. Looks great, I try and come up with something to contribute!
Where have you been Kid?
The Daily Empire site is one of the few still 'keeping it real' when it comes to supporting the warhammer world
I only recently started a WFRP 3rd edition game when I acquired them when my RPG store was moving and clearing its inventories. I've run three sessions so far, and I'm really glad to have found this site now!
Thank you all! I might not be as active in updating it as I once was but I still hope it keeps at least some dice rolling for WFRP.
I have some additions to the basic campaigns that I've written as adventure seguays I'll be happy to share for the blog, if you like.
Send 'em! We moved our domain to a different provider recently and are still fighting some minor setbacks but hopefully I'll be able to upload them next weekend.
There seems to be a lot of problems for the Daily Empire. We changed recently our domain provider and it has caused a number a issues I haven't been able to fix. I can only randomly access my mail account (since it was linked via the provider from the original email) and cannot upload anything. This doesn't mean that the Daily Empire is going away. It just means I haven't been able to upload anything new in a while. I'm not that good with html anymore so I cannot promise things will be fixed asap. I have a fellow admin though who I have contacted to help me out but he's extremely busy.
So if you have sent me mail/things/whatnot do not worry. I will quite likely be able to post them at some point. I just don't know when.
The Daily Empire has a new(second) admin! I hope the reign of Rangdo marks new era for the blog with the host of new WFRP games coming.
