Clones era specialist personnel packs.

By PhoenixOfCopper, in Star Wars: Legion

With legion leaving ffg are we likely to see more info on the clone and CIS specialists before they release? Or were the writers also let go at the same time?

I hope the silence from Atomic mass games also ends soon. I just got 3 new players in to the game in my town that has a dismal player base. They started to get shy of the game after they heard the game was changing hands.

FFG has still been releasing articles for Legion (as well as Armada and I assume X-Wing). Who knows how long that will last.

I hope we will see articles about specialists sooner than later.

I pre ordered my CIS specialists. At least I have portable scanners... maybe.

I'm okay not seeing the articles for a bit as long as stuff is still released

clones are getting the LAAT in Q2 2021

as for the clone specialists I think its a good bet theyll be coming out Q1 2021

Where did we see LAAT confirmed?

If the release date is accurate I think the LAAT/LE might be for the Empire since it looks to release at the same time as the A-A5.

It’s not the LAAT; it’s the LAAT/le. The Repiblic had those, but we primarily see them in Rebels on Lothal, under the control of the Imperials.

I'm also supprised that we don't have any articles for the new specialists. They're supposedly releasing in just over 2 weeks and we haven't seen anything. I hope they haven't been overlooked in the transition to AMG.

They usually do the Legion articles on Tuesday. I'd assume we'll get them on the 12th and 19th if we get them at all.

How does the clones get red def. And droid get white def. At the same point price.

The direct ability its way more valuable on the droid then the clone

This 💯

So yeah the T-series seems almost like an auto include. Direct is stupid good for droids, especially since I'm not seeing an los requirement in the rrg

6x Phase 1 clones w/ Z6, targeting scopes, comm tech, & HQ uplink and Rex w/ Aggressive Tactics is only 711 points. On round 1 or 2 play Take That, Clankers!, 4 units use HQ uplink, 2 units get orders from the card. Delete and/or seriously deplete some opponent units at range 4. Next round Ambush & the other 2 clone units use their HQ uplink. 3 Fire Support capable units to clean up what survived the previous round with a good chance at getting priority for the round.

You could make some of them phase 2s as well so that you get even more surge

Swap them all I believe was exactly 800. Or add in an Echo strike team to pick off single mini units. Or a little of both.

What happens if the opponent just sits at range 5 or out of LOS?

Just sit and waste a turn?

This is why gunlines are silly

I like Vigilance on Rebels. Seems like good synergy with Leia or Rebel officers.

*cackling CIS players*

Just double-checking, Vigilance can be used to let the unit with Vigilance keep the dodge, right? If so, I think it's potentially a good choice for Obi-Wan. It'd be nice to carry over a dodge for Soresu Mastery in case your opponent activates before Obi-Wan next round.
