I used Scientific Theory in solo Roland when Carcosa first came out. I really liked it, being fast to throw down when needed for a tough fight and if it sticks around then being able boost intellect if desired was handy. It was also an extra point of sanity for 1 cost, which I appreciated as Roland - I find 5 sanity investigators quite challenging to use.

I’ve also used Plucky alongside Scrapper to obtain a 1 resource for +1 in any skill. I think it was in an Ashcan deck, although it might have been Wendy. Peter Sylvestre is good (no surprise there) for keeping Plucky in play.

I don’t think I’ve used any of the others. I toyed with the idea of using them in a Lola deck but never got round to trying it.

I've used Moxie with Sefina, since it boosts her two best skills.
