any new expansions planned?

Is the series at at end or will we see additional expansions?

It's all over - the former CEO of FFG said Eldritch Horror and Elder Sign are both done.

It's a bit a of a shame since they mostly whiffed big time on the Masks of Nyar. expansion...not a great way to go out after some strong entries.

That being said there are some really good fan expansions out there (even a better Masks one) so the game will hopefully continue to live a nice life.

I was just complaining about this to a friend. Such a huge let down after such a strong series of expansions. It was like with Nikki on their way out, they didn't care anymore. Just wanted it to be over.

It's a huge shame that we have seen the last expansion. This game is still in BGG's top 75 games, and it would be higher if FFG had not abandoned it. There are so many ways that they could continue to support this game with new AO's, investigators, sideboards, and mechanics.

The game has become excessively bloated. While the base game was definitely in dire need for an expansion to pad out some of the decks, it has since just become too much and the last expansion was not very well received.

Still a great game with morecthan enough replayability.

I kind of agree that it didn't really need any more mechanical expansions, due to bloat.

It'd be pretty cool though if they did something like an update pack every few years with the newer Arkham Files investigators and maybe a new AO, just to keep the characters updated. But obviously not likely.
